I saw on pinterest a new way of curling your hair that involves a sock. So of course I tried it and..... It works! I cant remember the blog that explained how to do it but you can look at my pinterest posts and see it there.
Here is what it looks like when you wrap your hair around the sock.
And I was going to post what my looked like afterwards but for some reason I can't find it on my phone now. Guess that means I will have to do it again tomorrow and post a pic :)

Rollie Pollie
One of my sweet nephews loves my dog Harley, and I love that my dog doesn't mind. (Correction: they both love him but only one rolls over him.)
I think the pics aren't in order but I think you'll get the picture. I also have a video and will post that whenever I figure out how to upload it from my phone.

Turtle neck top, $52
J Crew long a line skirt, $128
Leather heels, $168
Earrings, $48 I love classic clothes with a punch of color. Maybe in late October, you'll see me sporting a similar outfit. Hope you are having productive Tuesday...maybe this afternoon will be more productive for me :)

Today and every tuesday
I don't have class on Tuesday's. You may be thinking..."that's awesome." Well it is because a lot of our tests are on Wednesday and Thursday. So Tuesday is my designated study day. ( I study other days too. I have to!) Any way here are a couple pics from my short study break taken on PhotoBooth.
In the study rooms at school
Two heads would definitely be better than one right now.
This picture was taken to show there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's August 3rd 2012.
I also found this video that i completely forgot about. I miss my puppy... (this was made around March 2010)
For those of you who might now know what, I'm back in school. I'll write a post about it soon.

Travel Bug
I'm always up for a good trip, and right now I'm itching to see some family and friends in Little Rock this weekend. I mean who wouldn't want to spend time with these sweet cheeks, a.k.a. my niece Eden.
But I can't wait til I get to take my next overseas trip. This little video is fun and it whispers to me, "Come on Lindsay, come see the world." (It helps that the guy has a good smile:)

Love Them: Flea Markets and Estate Sales
During the process of moving to Jonesboro, I knew I'd need a couple of extras for my place but didn't have a ton of cash to dish out. So... I continued to make normal trips to estate sales and flea markets waiting for eye catching pieces with a good price. And here is what I found!
Love this chair and the color, which was on it when I bought it. Tip: If you shop estate sales on Sundays most of them put their stuff half off or more. And everything is negotiable! ($20, i think)
I have this picture up to talk about the colored frames. I have this big open wall and needed something cheap and colorful. One Sunday I was inspired and set out to a couple of estate sales and the MidTown Antique Mall in Little Rock. I found all the frames that afternoon and then got some spray paint at Lowe's. This project was completed in the afternoon. (Cost: under $40) I'm thinking about added a couple more frames. What do you think?
We needed some extra light in our living room and I found this beauty at the flea market by my house. It was an ugly brass color that is now hidden with cream spray paint. The shade that is on it came with it and it currently matches but I think its a bit small for the lamp. So I'll look for a new one sometime. (brass lamp $15 + $3 can of spray paint = $18, basic floor lamp at pottery barn $150)
Garage sales find. When i got these they were brass and covered in old red candle wax. Nothing a little steel wool couldn't get rid of and a little spray paint can't cover. I don't really have a place for these right now, but they are hollow in the middle so I'm hoping to make cute matching lamps someday. ($5 candle sticks + $3 spray paint = $8, candleholders from ikea $26 for two)
Window Pane. This is a more recent find from Cuba, Mo. It needs a little cleaning up and some caulking to secure the panes, but when is hung I'm thinking of using it to write with a dry erase market or hang pics or post-its. (window $8 + Caulking ? = hopefully under $20)
I loooovvveee this rocker. My friend Amanda and I found this chair at the Memphis Flea Market in Jacksonville, AR. At the time I didn't have anywhere to put it so Amanda bought and said she would sell it back to me if I changed my mind. Well the day before moving to Jonesboro, I bought it back. I'm very thankful for Amanda and miss her very much. (rocking chair $50)
Another find from Cuba, Mo. This farm favorite is now home to all of my blankets. I love winter and the house being a bit chilly, so I can wrap up in a blanket. Now instead of grabbing them from the linen closet, they are readily accessible next to the TV. (Found the above pic on a website that is selling it for $115. WHAT!?! Mine was only $10, I love a good bargain!)
Have you found any good deals lately? Or any suggestions forcheap inexpensive decor?
