life

Im such a bad blogger lately..

Im in super chill mode..

We have been having too much fun to sit and blog but as of now both wee ones are sleeping so Im doing a quick update...

Missouri is beautiful right now, the temps have been pretty perfect. A few chilly nights even, lucky us!

Lyla is officially potty trained! It was super easy and quick and she loves to tell me that she is doing the potty dance. Ty and I are soo glad that she figured it out.

We have seriously been chillen, going to parks, playing with friends and eating lots of donuts...

Ty is loving school and is super psyched about his doctor bag and clinical classes..

Luke is huge and def teething at the moment..

Lovin on black beans and apples.

Lyla is such a little person and amazes us everyday with what she remembers and what comes out of her mouth.. She is a little smarty one..

Her favorite food right now is seaweed snacks and gatorade.

Im currently on the hunt for a good swimming suit.

Thats the Nelsons quick and dirty....

Pretty proud of this guy...

He just finished up his 4th tri of school, passed his first round of boards and beyond that he is SUCH a super husband and such a super dad....

Thanks Ty for working so hard.

Our time here is flying by.. I cant believe we have already been here for two years! Just two more to go!!!

Just yesterday we had a crazy St Louis style storm. I LOVE it when these thunder storms roll through. Its always so fast, intense and loud! The dark clouds rolled through, lightening and thunder followed by the very loud tornado sirens.. I knew after the first storm we experienced here that I would really miss it when we moved, but yesterday it hit me again that I am REALLY going to miss St Louis when Ty graduates. If it didn't reach a billion degrees here in the summer and the rivers were clean I might consider living here..

a lit visit..

This cute couple came to visit with their sweet little baby Hazel..

Luke and Hazel were born on the very same day,,, how fun is that?!!!

they are instant besties..

oh how we miss the jensens.. so so so so glad they ventured to the mid-west to visit!

tonight we are young

lots of...

seriously had so much fun with my sister....we played

a little frisbee golf, did some serious egg coloring, visited cahokia mounds and went on a rainy hike in weldon springs..

..laughed so hard...

spent the day at the zoo.

st louis zoo is pretty rad, we spend a long day chillen and people watching, oh the people in missouri...)

lyla is always obsessed with the carousel, and her new family-katrina and jeff

we honestly packed in a lot while trina and jeff were here, one day we hit the arch, gus' pretzel, basilica, fitzs', boba tea and went paddle boarding! it was a pretty exhausting day.. but oh so fun.

its a movie and popsicle day

today my little friend is sick..

home is where I want to be....

we had such a good time in utah... lyla still wakes up thinking that all her friends (cousins) are coming over to play.. she will start naming them off, and asks who will it be today?.. she loves all her little friends in utah.)

so flying with the two wee ones was so chill.. i def packed a BIG bag of goods to keep them busy but this is what happened both to and from..

i was a lucky mom.

so luke has a twin cousin. hazel may.

she was born the very same day as luke. just an hour before... so they are twinz. it was pretty hilarious to spend time with little hazel may.

she is adorable and the two just loved each other.

i had packed boots, coats, gloves and snow pants expecting to get some fun white fluffy stuff but instead we got some nice, warm sunny weather..

lyla was happy about it.

its 50 out..

tyler celebrated his big 30th the other day...lyla is now obsessed with fire and singing happy birthday. it was a party, he hung out with his parents while I had my eyes glued to the tv watching bachelor.. im so lame.

lyla loves to bug maya, she drags her around the house telling here where to sit, where to lay, makes her play in her room with her.. they are quiet the pair.

little luke is growing so fast, he is such a happy little guy. he melts my heart and already has ty thinking he wants another baby.. ut-oh!

life is good, but about to get better.....

Utah here I come!

be chillen...

Friday night Ty and I headed out to a show.. it was the first time I had left Luke for more than a few hours so we were a bit slow getting out the door. We were assuming we would have to park a million miles away because we were late but oh no, the Nelsons be chillen and pulled up RIGHT in front of the show.. it was pretty much amazing... and when we left it was raining,.... so double amazing..

great night with the h, great music, great baby sitter and great parking..

mmmm the good things in life.
