Went back to CTSS this afternoon after visiting Baby Jeven at West Coast.. When I stepped into the school, the whole atmosphere was so different. This is the 1st time I felt lost.. 1st time I didnt feel belonged in an environment..

Went to see Miss Shelley Low.. She looked much more radiant now, strangely. Was very happy that she still could remember and recognise me.. We were telling her about Norman scoring A for History A levels exam.. Miss Low actually could not believe it.. Haha.. Norman seemed to have a bad reputation sia.. Heehee..

Mrs Gan oredi had 2 children. Both girls.. She told me abut some upcoming plans for CTSS. One of which we would be moving to the holding sch area at Commonwealth, where the old New Town Sec was.. They would heck down the whole building and rebuilt it again.. Cool~! But sad.. no more prison gate - our icon..

After the carnival, went to watch movie with the guys.. The Island.. Damn stupid show and I made a fool out of myself.. In the beginning they wer sowing some Puma White Shoes which majority of the people agreed that it was nice..

The whole movie was about 2 clones trig to escape.. Ran and ran.. Until I had to make a super sacastic comment.. Why?! They have to show that PUMA shoes ar good for running..

This statement caused everyone to start giggling about me.. But I dun care.. as Long as I am happy.. Yeah!

Met up with my darling son and dearie for lunch at Jurong Point today..

As usual, I was late and left Jun with Hongwei alone.. When I reached the bus stop and saw the both of them, they looked awkward sia.. Seemed like they had nuttin much to talk about.. I realised I was either talking to Hongwei or Jun..

Hongwei was telling us that he went to the Military Court in the morning to help his man defend some charges. Apparently, this recruit (or Private I cant remember) AWOLed for 2 months to work and earn money to feed his family.. To me, this was really touching but in the eye of the law, he had commited a serious offence.. Moreover, it was the 3rd time he was absent from duty without approval.

The amount of money paid to the soldiers is pathetic! No wonder army guys tend to find part time or freelance jobs over the weekends..

Increase their pay man! They need the money..

But then again, guys out there.. spend ur money wisely while u are in army..

The whole week was so hectic for me.. Having camps back to back.. PESS Camp and Hall Camp.. Just went for the Hall's SP Nite at Millenia Walk's Zen 10 Bar. It was a last minute decision to go down becos I was suposed to be at the PESS Gala Nite but becos i had to be back in JJ for a while for the Alumni thingy. Ended up not going back for the camp..

They announced all the winners for the camp and pageant finalists during on that night itself. Congrats to all winners.. Cheers!

I enjoyed being a participant once again after so long being an organiser..

5 years ago I was attached on this very day! Wahaha..

PE Camp was boring.. We were playing sports game the whole day. Some jerk thought he was playing golf during our game of Floor ball. He swang the stick so high that it hit my head.. He apologised briskly and ran away. At first, I thought things were fine under I felt something flowing down my scalp. I touched it and realised my head was bleeding! Haha. Had to call for someone to substitute me in the middle of the game.. Argh..

My OGL from the PE Camp was Aslinda. One of the freelance instructor from FIT.. Such a small world right?

I asked her to let me come back to hall to sleep den go back the next morning again. Had to do it discreetly. Thanks Aslinda. Rushed back to hostel so that I can still join my group, Miso, for a while.. The ppl were all so shocked to see me back becos they thought I would not be joining them for the rest of the hall camp. I felt so at home when I came back to join the guys for the hall camp.. But still have to be back in NIE tmr morning..

Thanks to the wonderful GOLF players who used a floorball stick, I had to be extremely careful just now when I showered. If not I would start bleeding again.. Argh.. I could feel a big bump! Sob Sob..Hope it would not swell that much tmr..

Went Kallang for Dragonboating for the Hall 4 Camp yesterday.. Damn tiring but it was fun and I enjoyed it.. First time I had a chance to bathe at the National Stadium sia.. So exciting..

After the session at Kallang, we went to Chinatown to play a Food Relay Game.. For those of u who watched Jacky Wu's variety show wil probably have heard about Shi Zi Lu Kou.. We were practically running around Chinatown! Our last dish was Cheese Sausage. I never tired it until that night itself.. Delicious wor..

One day must go back there again.. On the way back just now, our senior Kelvin Hoon taught us a new song for campfire. I was very tired that I did not want to do but upon seeing Kelvin's radiant smile and still so enthu, it actually brightened up my night.. Thanks Hoon..

This morning, NTU was trying to break some record for the Most Number of Blind Date. We had to partner with some guy fro another hall and went in search for some items in Scavenger Hunt. The winners will walk away with fabulous prizes! We combined our effort and yes, we won 1st prize.. $200 Harvey Norman Voucher to be shared among me and my date, Christopher. He happened to be a senior as well as a Sports Sec from Hall 12.

So paiseh.. When I came back to hall from SRC where the event was held. Alot of ppl heard that someone in Hall 4 won something. ok fine.. That was me!

I was nominated as Best Freshie for hall camp but I know for sure I will not win cos I have to attend the PESS Camp tmr. I am beginning to feel that I will miss the fun in hall camp.. Can I not go for the PE Camp later? Awwwwww..

Was a bit reluctant to atend becos I cant imagine myself back as a participant rather than a camp instructor.. But then again, if I were to miss out the camp, it will be a bit pointless to stay in hall..

We were supposed to report at 1pm.. I had decided to go back home to take more clothes and buy some stuff for the room..

I went back home and was caught in a super heavy rain that I had to take a cab back hostel.. In the end I was late for the camp.. Felt a bit lost in the beginning but slowly i tried to adapt..

I went shopping with my cousin yesterdae for my bedsheet! Bought this really nice quilt and pillow set from Taka. It is purple! Never had I shop for such stuff in my entire life.. Usually, my Mum will be the one buying all these for the family..

After the shopping, went over to East Coast Park Costa Sands Chalet for the Council Exco BBQ.. Turnout was lesser than expected. Quite disappointed but did not wan to dampen the spirit of the peeps there so I decided to shut the comments. Mr Handsome Ng was there and he told us about some upcoming plans the college has. It was good to hear that we are moving towards our goal to become Top 7 JCs in Singapore by 2008. Hope we can achieve our goal..

We were introduced to juniors and seniors from past and present council Excos. Glad to see that we are still bonded by a common topic- Life as a Councillor in JJ.

Student Council Alumni was formed last night. Heading the club will be my presto, Shir, assisted by my VP, Zif. Eugene, who conveniently pushed the load to Shir, prolclaimed himself as the Advisor. Haha.. Anyway, it was fun to see each other and such catching up sessions are definitely good for us.. Hope there will be more to come in future..

This morning's pool duty will mark the last day as a permanent staff in FIT for me..

Had to rush like crazy the whole of today's afternoon becos I just moved into hostel today. Thanks to my brother who gave me a lift, sending most of my stuff to my hostel. I just finished unloading my stuff. Taking a break to blog.. Gonna stay here tonight so at least the bed is done den it should be fine..

Anyway, the whole of this coming week I will be down for Hall Camp and PE Camp. Hopefully I have some time to post..

Finally..
Went to NIE in the morning for my registration as well as to draw my hostel key.. Things seemed to happen so fast.. Suddenly I am in NIE.. Suddenly I got my hostel.. Suddenly moving in hostel..

Karen was with me.. That Woman! Forever late! Haha..

I had to go back to office so had to leave her there since she said she was going to clean up.. Ya.. Few days back I had actually asked Waterboy if he could help me move my stuff to my hostel.. he sorta agreed but..

What happened was that it was my last day and there were alot things I had to clear.. Supposed to leave office at 6pm sharp but ended up leaving only at 630pm.. In the end Waterboy couldnt send me there cos he had to go for a competition.. But it was nice of him to send me home thou..

Ok.. Luckily I did not go down also.. Karen apparently, had not clean up the room too.. Haha.. Decided to move in on Sunday..

Nadia came to me just now in office to tell me that today is her last day. I was uterly shocked by the news. I thought I will leave before her (tomorrow is my last day). Her reason was that she found better job prospect elsewhere. I feel happy for her. It is importantly for ppl to keep looking fro better prospect. How many ppl nowadays really do stay loyal to their employer if someone else can offer something much beta. I feel that her workscope is rather stagnant in FIT too. Maybe it is really a god move.. Hope she enjoys working in her new environment.

Now, Waterboy will be more stressed with her swimming coordination since Nadia is not around anymore. There is really limited thing I can help since I am also leaving.. I hope he can cope with his work too..

I will definitely miss Nadia - someone whom I shared alot of gossips with..

Was in office this afternoon to check my mail and it was a pleasant surprise to receive an email from Hall Office regarding our acceptance into Hall 4..

Called Karen to meet up with her to go IKEA to buy some barang for the room.. It was fun shopping for our room.. Cos the colour themes were only orange and purple.. Think if I have the money, I will buy alot of things for my new room.. Haha..

Met up with Karen in the morning to go to NTU to register for our hostel.. It was really a long walk from NIE to NTU Student Affairs Office. We were nearly lost..

However, it was a trip worth going becos we reached there to realise that we can register 1st without having to give our matrix card no. Most imptly, we will be able to get our hostel somewhere this week and latest early next week.. Beta be earlier cos we have to attend hall camp.. So looking forward to staying in hostel.. Heehee..

Now back in office to face and the music and shit again.. Haha.. Countdown last 5 days in FIT..

Went to Mummy Joanne's house to play with Jeven again.. Oh my gosh.. He is so adorable.. Before we went down to the pool, Mummy Joanne's Dad put Jeven in the closet. He looked like a doll.. We were all laughing about it.. My boss asked me to go into the room to find Jeven in the closet..



I became the camerawoman agin for my boss.. But so happy that this time round I took more smiling shots of Jeven in the water as compared to previous time round..

Today was a Shopping Day too.. Went to town with Jun and Qi to shop for clothes.. Bought some sports bras and a top.. Jun bought a pair of Levi's Jeans.. Hai.. Splurge again sia her.. Haha.. Just so happened that I met my Sec sch fren who was working in Levi's Store and he said I put on weight! Shit man..

Neway, went to Cartel for dinner.. I really like hanging out with my girl pals.. They are wonderful peeps.. So glad to have them by my side all these while.. Feel so blessed.. Heehee..

I was totally pissed off today!

Went to Raffles Hospital early in the morning with Karen for our MOE Medical check up.. As we all known, everyone must fill in the Health Declaration Form before going to the check up. In another word, I have to report and record all my past medical conditions.. I thought it was no big deal as I have not gone back to the hospital with regards to my conditions liao.. After doing all the tests, the physician told me that she would not considered my check up done until I go back to NUH to go my doctor to write a memo for me to state that my condition is under control! I had to rush all the way down from Bugis to NUH to get the memo. Initially, Karen & I had planned to go NTU to register for hostel. In the end, it was becos of me that she could not register for hostel today..

Waited for an hour plus just to get a signature and a stamp from my doctor to certify that I was alright! Not even a paragraph of explanation.. But, cannot blame my NUH doctor cos I am really ok liao and there was nothing she could write about..

Today was Council Investiture.. I was surprised I did not shed a tear during the ceremony. 3 years ago I was invested and 2 years ago when I stepped down, emotions were running wild for me.. The whole ceremony was so out of place with a teacher's speech to ask the councillor to remove their council badges. It was supposed to be the role of the President.. Anyway, I was so faked when I congratulated the juniors.. I just could not be bothered.. In fact, I was disgusted by the entire ceremony.. The only reason for me to go back was to see my old friends and some teachers..



Went to JP for dinner with Chao, Zif and some juniors from the 23rd Council. I was not feeling too well by then.. Dunno why.. We shared about council days as usual until one of the juniors told me that 1 teacher has actually bad-mouthed me in front of the juniors behind my back!

I actually did not bear any grudges against him becos we had clashed in interest in the past. I still respect for all the things he did for council and the college. But how could he bad-mouthed me behind my back!?! I was upset but I could not be bothered since I had left the council and the college..

Anyway, I bought a new book today..

Went to the dentist today to get the filling done.. Wasted my money sia.. Just a little bit of filling costs $15! However, I heard from Jun that the one she went to for cleaning costs $70 when mine cost $30 only..

I FINALLY FINISHED READING MY DA VINCI CODE.. Yeah!
Rating for the book: 7/10

It was the 1st thick book I ever completed reading.. Feel so proud of myself.. Haha.. It is about this guy named Langdon who was accused of murdering a curator.. Den the curator's grand-daughter Sophie assisted Langdon in trying to solve the secret code which was left by his grandfather, the deceased curator. Blah blah blah..

The story describes alot about the different places of interest in Paris as well as the paintings by Da Vinci. If you have the money, buy the hardcover version with the pictures inside.. U will really appreciate it if you a somewhat an art fanatic!

Went to Mummy Joanne's maternal house in West Coast to see Baby Jeven yesterday afternoon before heading down to Home Team NS Bukit Batok to help in Fee Collection for Swimming Programme! So adorable.. My boss, Jeffery, and Mummy Joanne brought Baby down for a swim.. Baby looked so blur.. So cute.. He wore his swim suit and went swimming.. I got to carry him down to the pool.. Helped my boss took pictures of Baby learning to swim.. Saw the fatherly side of my boss.. Haha.. Saw a happy family.. :)

Was feeling a bit upset and offended today.. Waterboy brought his gf to help out in the Water Telematch for Home Team NS Family Day. We were distributing the plastic wrist band as door gift. Waterboy's gf saw 1 of the wrist bands with the wording I Love You. She turned to me and said,

Come Lynn, give this to your bf!

Argh.. I had to reject her kind offer telling her that I am single..

In my mind I had 2 replies..

If she were to ask me to take the wrist band for my bf I will tell her..

1. Can I have 5?????
2. Can I give it to Alvin???

Haha.. In the end I decided not to be mean.. Smile and said thanks and I dun need the band..

2nd part. During lunch. We were sitting around a table when she asked me if I was going NIE. I told her I going in to do a Diploma programme. She asked how come not a degree. I told her I was not good enuff for a Degree Programme..

Den, she gave this sarcastic comment.. Saying,

Huh? Lidat no degree ar?

Wah.. For the moment I did not know how to reply.. Obviously I mentioned earlier that I DID not do well enuff to get into the Degree Programme.. Felt like she was rubbing salt onto my wound..

At least I know what I wanted to pursue.. I rather not waste my time 3 years in University getting a degree and ended up doing something not related at all.. ( I shall not mention names.)

But there again, I think I was too sensitive. May be the fact that she is Waterboy's gf made me so sensitive with her words..

I'm happy with the way things are going for me. I believe God has great plans for me ahead. He knows what is best for me..

Enuff about the unhappy things.. The kids which participated in the telematch today were little angels. They were my motivation to move on. The innocent smile on their face further convinced me that I should be in the teaching profession..

Karen called me while I was in office last evening to tell me that her grandma called to tell her that MOE posted a big yellow envelope to her house. She was excited and asked me to check whether I receive the letter..

Called home to ask my Daddy to open the letter box. He called me to ask me toreturn home for some urgent matter after work.. Supposed to meet up with Gene they all for supper and had to postpone it to a later time.

Yesh! I got the envelope too! And I am posted to NIE straight! Doing my Diploma in Physical Education. Being a PE teacher is what I always wanted since young.. I am overjoyed and blessed!

Called my closer frens and teachers to tell them I got posted to NIE.. They were all happy for me becos they knew that it is what I always wanted..

Left home at 830pm to go West Mall to meet up with the rest and also to share the news with Gene and gang..

Spent the whole evening at Batok Macdonald which fortunately opens for 24 hours.. Haha..
Reached home around 2am!

Oh ya.. before I forget, congrats to Mr Joel Chia for the birth of his baby girl.. Yeah! Jared finally has got a sister after 6 years.. Heehee..

So tired sia.. Gonna sleep soon.. Good night..
