The dance performances tonight are really so much better than the previous weeks..

Prelude
My P5 class was gossiping me and Naz (my JJ junior my practicum sch now as contract teacher). So we decided to (come up with a story to) tell the kids we are attached to stop all the rumours.

During the NDP rehearsal yesterday..

Student: Miss Teo, when u 1st told us you have a bf, i dun really believe. You are so tomboy!

Me: (heartbroken)Ya.. My bf must be blind lor..

Student: Ya.. I really wonder what you bf sees in you..

Me: (heartbroken x2) Anyway, it's none of your business..

Oh man.. Kids nowadays.. Their words are so hurting la..

Yesterday was a total mad rush for many of us in school, including P and VP.

0715hrs (2hr 45 min before exercise)
Cynthia (DM) had to brief the students again on the evacuation route. Everyone knew that there will be an emergency exercise happening later in the day. But the students did not seem to feel any difference. Haha.. Kids are kids..

0830hrs (1hr 00 min before exercise)
I went into my P5 Math class to realise almost half the class was gone! So out of "curiosity", I asked the rest of the class where have the rest gone.

"They are involved in the emergency exercise!!"

Ok, I rest my case.

0930hrs (0 hr 30 min before exercise)
Some of my students came running down to see me in the canteen.

Students: Miss Teo!! Any homework today??

Me: Haiyo!! How come you all have charcoal soot on the faces??

Students: Emergency exercise lor!!

Me: You guys ran all the way down from the preparation room to ask me this question?

Students: No la.. We are hungry!!

Me: (-_-''')

0955hr (0hr 05 min before exercise)
Naz and I went up to the Science Lab before the explosion. All our students were ready to scream and get injured. All make ups were done like pros!! Cool!! Managed to take a pix for some of my students.

BOOM!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

*Fire alarm went off*

PA system: This is the P speaking. There is an explosion in the Science Laboratory. All students are to evacuate to the carpark at CTSS. Abort Staircase 3 from Level 4.......

Den everything else was in a total mess all the way until 3pm that I don't even wanna mention it anymore.. Haha.. Relief and debrief all the way..

I think all school should conduct an emergency exercise. In times of real emergency, we will not be lost and able to handle the situation still. :)

How I wish I have so many things to write on my reflections on lesson plans like the amount I am writing in my blog. I dread writing reflections. I just find it useless..

Total waste of time.

Why must we type the lesson plans nicely for put everything single piece of shit information in it. As long as we have a guideline of what we want to do, I think it should be sufficient wad!

F**k the system!!

I am annoyed!

Tomorrow my sup is coming and at this moment as I am blogging, I still have not churn out the lesson plan for tomorrow!

At least I do not have to plan for Friday's lessons!! School Emergency Exercise!!

I am so looking forward to all these non academic things happening in school..

As you can see from the post title, it was just another weekend spent staying at home to mark my students' worksheets and workbooks.

I can see more of these coming in the next few weeks as my kids prepare for the Mid Year Exam. So it was be tons ofr revision papers!!

Right now, I just wanna quickly finish marking the papers and plan my lessons for the coming week. I hate practicum.. I rather be going back to NIE and mug like those having exams soon..

This is utmost sianness.. 4 more weeks to go.. I can't wait..

This morning went tomb sweeping with Dad Dad and his family. My aunties and uncles. Plus one of the cousins who is as old as my elderest bro..

It was a long journey as we had to travel to AMK to pick up the aunties and down to Bedok Reservoir den to CCK Chinese Cemetry den back to my place for family lunch.

The sun is damn hot la!! I almost melted!!

This was one of those few occasion u need an umbrella during a hot hot day like this!

But then again, I always like going tomb sweeping. It's a family thing although those cousins from my generation seldom appear.. But heck it, I think my grans will sense my presence and bless my family.. Haha..

Went to Sentosa on Good Friday with Miss Quek for a tan. The weather was fine and we had an ok tan. Just that occasionally, the clouds had to cover the sun completely, leaving us to "enjoy" the sea breeze.

As we ventured out for a good tanning spot along Siloso Beach, we came to Cafe Delmar. From a distance away, we could see this intimiding group of guys sitting on one of those beds. As we came closer, we realised that they were simply a bunch of gays! But they sure looked good in bright coloured swimming trunks! Haha..

Miss Quek was a weakling!! (Ms Quek, I am shouting this out to you..) Asked me to go tan den hid in the shade after a while! Haha.. But it was funny to see a sunshine babe like her scared of the hot sun.. Worth my $3 entrance fee..

Another funny thing.. Miss Quek was skeptical about the Indians at Siloso Beach. All of them seemed to be paying $3 entrance fee to come to Siloso Beach to look at Bikini babes. All some came with camera. There was one guy who took pictures in our direction.

Miss Quek hurriedly asked me to cover my face.. Like some paparazzi trying to stalk us lidat..
But she is ust concerned our pix might end up on the internet nude..

So, thanks Miss Quek for the protection. It was sure an interesting way not to be caught on camera!

I have a short body!!

Sorry to all those who have been reading my blog.

I have ben really busy and it's difficult to find time to blog nowadays with the increasing workload at Practicum.

Sigh.

I dread the lesson plannings and reflections. Somehow I am enjoying the teaching part. Although my kids really pissed me off at times.

Managed to head out to the beach with Miss Quek yesterday and it had been a great outing. Even though we didnt do much fanciful things, all we did was to bake ourselves under the hot sun. I feel so much better after the tan.. *beam*



Yesterday was the birthday of someone who had been close to my heart during those times.

I still can remember all the silly things I did.

Imagine you are a 18 year old teenage girl who has this huge super big crush on this guy.

On the night of his bdae, you bought small bdae cake and decided to surprise him by waiting at his void deck.

It is 1140pm and he is still not home.

You have been waiting for almost 2 hours.

You have to catch the last bus.

You begin to panic because you may just end up having to walk home as you had run out fo cash.

You called him.

He told you that he was not coming home that night.

Sadly, you threw the cake into the bin and headed to the bus stop to catch the last bus.

Until now, you still have not told him that you waited at his place that night.

Yes. That was something I had done for this guy. How silly right?

In the end, we are still not meant to be together. Haha..

Anyway, just wanna wish him Happy burfdae..

I walked into the class 2 days ago and my kids asked me these.

Student A: Miss Teo, how come you always wear the same t shirt but different colour?

Me: Because that's my uniform!

Student A: How come you have uniform?

Me: Cos I am studying in a school.

Student A: What school?

Me: (getting irritated) Can't you see? It's written on the t shirt!

Student A then tried to read the words on my t shirt..

Student B: Miss Teo, if the whole class passes Math, can you wear dress to sch, please?

Me: !#$%^&* (Give a WTH expression) You guys must not only pass but score very well because you are in the best class!

Student A: (the same one from the earlier part of the conversation): Oh I know already! She (meaning me) is a 男人婆！

Me: (Looking at Student A) What makes you so sure I dun wear skirts or dresses on weekends?

Student A had nuttin to say and he decided to keep quiet.

Student C: Miss Teo, how many colours (of the t shirts) do you have?

Me: Enough to last me 3 weeks. Stop asking me questions! You can set up some "Guess What colour Miss Teo is Wearing" competition. Alright! I am wearing black today. Not in good mood.

Student D: So next time you wear bright colours means you are in a good mood lor..

Me: (walked away and pretended I did not say anything earlier on..)

Yesterday, I wore a lime and they were cheering cos I was supposed to be in good mood. Crazy!!
