Life is so unpredictable
Thursday, July 23, 2009 / 1:05 AM

I think this is so true...

We never know when our loved ones gonna leave us...

Cos we never know what happen tomorrow...

Maybe for the dead they will find peace in heaven.. But the living are the ones who needs to walk out of the misery and sorrow..

I respect the undertakers.

They face the dead every other day. They are the ones who helped to ensure that the funeral is well taken care of. From the purchase of the coffin to the booking of the slot for the crematorium. Everything is settled by them without having to worry...

Suddenly I miss my 小舅..

I met him about a month ago... He looked so pale and weak..

But he remembered me and he said this to me..

"Actually I am very proud of u now that u have graduated and become a teacher.. I am very proud of you..."

I will continue to do u proud 小舅.. Rest in peace.. :''

I NEED MORE LONG WEEKENDS
Tuesday, July 07, 2009 / 6:36 PM

Yes..

I am feeling drained after 1 week of school and it just didnt get better when the flu, sore throat, cough and fever come as a combo.. -__-

My form class is generally quite a sweet bunch of kids. But they seriously need to TALK LESS, LEARN MORE. I will work harder to help them make it for their Math for the Year End Exam..

I am settling well in an new environment and things will only get better. Colleagues are nice although some closer ones left for greener pasture.

TIC is coming and seriously, other than going back for a gathering with my friends, I don't see why I should attend the exact same ceremony again after 2 years. I have sworn in and pledged to be a good teacher... And I don't think reciting the pledge will make any change to a person's character and how he/she sees teaching as a career.

But still, it is supposed to be a joyous occasion where old friends meet and catch up with one another. Can't wait.

This week, I will be starting my weekly run. On Thursday and maybe Friday. Cos I am 2 weeks from Shape Run and I have not done my 10k for ages!!!! Oh gosh!!!! Cant I really survive? I am keeping my fingers crossed.

My health has been bothering me for the past 2 weeks. I have never been so sick since a couple of years back and I have no idea why I ended up being so sick since school reopens.. Is there any link between the 2? Haha...

I havent seen my girlies since the KTV session in June and I seriously need to meet up for a "downloading" session.... WHEN WHEN WHEN??

Netball session will be changed to Wednesday.. Means that on Tuesday there will no longer be mad rush for me from school to tuition den to Kallang...

Oh, one more random stuff.. I seriously hate taking medicine becos even my mucus smells like the cough syrup I took. Moreover, I am seeing blood stains in my mucus... I am sure this is not a result of sneezing hard (as commended by my colleague..) cos this is the normal way of blowing my nose for me...

Ok.. I am heading home for dinner and seriously need to sleep well before tmr.... :

Good morning class...

School has started almost a week and I feel like as if I have aged 10 years already. -__-

21 periods of P3 PE.

11 periods of P3 Math.

3 periods of Level Meeting.

Form teacher.

CCA Teacher Overall I/C.

Action Research for PE

P6 Intensive Math morning before-school sessions.

PLUS....

Forever-not-recovering sore throat and cough since before school starts....

But thank God for awesome boss. nice colleagues with same frequency and the kids in my form class.

Though they may not be the best for their results (in fact their Math is the worst among the level), they are really lovely bunch of kids and they do really make my day.. :)

Once upon a June...
/ 12:24 AM

It's school holiday and I have been nuaing at home..

No money to go overseas so decided to stay home this holiday... Last year this time I was in the states and I sooooo missed those days...

I should be either making milkshakes at front line, cutting onions and doing prep at back line or taking orders at the cash register... Gosh....

Or if this is my off day today, I might be queueing for the roller coasters in the park! Gosh.. I can imagine queueing for Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster or Magnum!!! If not I might be at Walmart, Mejier or Sandusky Mall... Panera Bread or even at Target.....

At Ryan's Buffet???

Cooking and prep for sumptuous dinner for housemates??

Sitting in front of the goggle box eating my pint of BnJ or Haagen Dazs ice cream!!!

I love it. I love it. I love it.

MISSING THE DAYS IN USA.........
