🤝 ENGIE and PepsiCo sign a 10-year Biomethane Purchase Agreement, the first of its kind for the UK food and drink industry and a first for PepsiCo across EMEA. 👉 As part of this BPA, ENGIE will build a new biomethane facility, which will supply 60 GWh of biomethane annually to PepsiCo's supply chain, equivalent to the gas consumption of approximately 5,000 households. ⚡ In the country, ENGIE already operates 4 anaerobic digestion plants, located in the southwest of England, and injects over 210 GWh of biomethane per year into the gas network, thereby helping to strengthen the country's energy sovereignty through more locally produced green gas, and supporting the effective decarbonization of British industry. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/epQkEa2d #WithENGIE ENGIE UK

▶️ ENGIE and Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) reach financial close on the 1.5 GW Khazna Solar PV project in Abu Dhabi. ☀️ The Khazna Solar project is one of the region’s largest photovoltaic installations and the largest solar project ever developed by ENGIE. Under a 30-year power purchase agreement (PPA) signed with EWEC in 2025, ENGIE and Masdar are responsible for the project’s design, financing, construction, and operation. ⚡ Once fully operational in 2028, Khazna Solar PV will supply clean electricity to approximately 160,000 homes and reduce Abu Dhabi’s carbon emissions by more than 2.4 million metric tons of CO₂ per year.
