Happy 30th Birthday Michael!

William & Nana made Michael a cookie cake for his birthday.
Obviously, William did most of the decorating!

Grandparents - Round Two

Michael's Mom (Nana) came to visit last week. What a huge help!! I cannot possibly thank her enough for everything she did! William had so much fun with his Nana. They went to the grocery (a lot), read a ton of books, painted pottery, cooked and practiced writing his name (lots). Nana also loved visiting with Maren, giving lots of kisses and taking loads of pictures!

Every morning Nana would ask William what he wanted for breakfast. EVERY morning the answer was pancakes-- so of course that's what he got!

William enjoyed making Michael's favorite lemon cake, meatballs and a birthday cookie cake!

He enjoyed cleaning up and playing in the sink even more than the cooking.

Those eyes get me every time!

They were the only ones in the store & Nana said he was quite the charmer with the owner (she's the one helping him).

Nana & Will

William wants to kiss Maren and be in her face ALL the time. He loves his little sister!

Michael can't stand it when she cries. She's going to be our cuddler! As soon as he picks her up she calms down and stops crying.

Doctor Visits

We have had to go back to the doctor a few times since Maren was born for weight checks. She lost quite a bit of weight at first, but we are finally back to her birth weight! Here are some pics of Maren in her car seat. I think it gives a good perspective of how tiny she really is! (Look at those feet--like a little puppy. Oh- and don't miss the double chin!)

My Little Fighting Tiger!

A few weeks ago William informed us that he wants to be a LSU football player for Halloween. I know it's not until the end of next month, but obviously it was on his mind. His Meme found the costume and brought it with her on their visit. It took a little coaxing but once William put it on he had a blast being a football player!

Someone forgot to tell Michael that the size on the box was 4T!

Bath Time

She can't get a real bath, but here are pics from her first sponge bath!

This one isn't from bath time, but I just love her in her diaper!

Grandparents- Round One

As you can imagine all of the grandparents have been dying to get their hands on their new granddaughter since she was born. They are also anxious to make sure William is getting an adequate amount of attention since we are a bit preoccupied. My Dad and StepMom made the trip over Labor Day weekend. As you can see they enjoyed every second!
MAREN TIME

WILLIAM TIME

Just what a 3 year old needs-- chocolate donuts for breakfast. "But he said please when he asked for them at the grocery" said Meme.

A little fun at Chuck E. Cheese!

William ran his Meme and Papaw ragged playing with his cars. He would line them all up and they would "race" them across my (new wood) floors-- over and over!

Geaux Tigers!

We HAD to be home from the hospital for LSU's first home game! As you can see everyone was dressed for the occassion!

Maren's First Days

Here are some pictures from our first days home-enjoy!

Car ride home

William was singing "Twinkle Twinkle" to Maren

The proud Big Brother!

This is the nightgown that Nana bought for Maren. I wanted her to wear it home, but I couldn't get my act together to change her clothes. I wanted to hurry and go get William.

She's a Daddy's girl already. He has the magic touch!
