We had visitors over for the last week and a half. Kelly and her family came to hang out with us in Bulgaria while their kids had a two week school break. It was awesome to see each other and our kids were super excited to play together again. We had such a great time that I am thinking we should repeat it again next year.

We were lucky to get holidays in Bulgaria from the 1st to the 6th of May and so we decided to take Chris and Kelly to the Black Sea, stopping in Veliko Turnovo on the way.

We spent the night in this little town. And in the morning decided to go to the fort place that we went to last fall.

The kids loved running through all that place and I was just afraid that someone will end up falling off a cliff. The fort is located on the mountain and has cliffs on all the sides of the property.

Kate was just happy to sit on Matt's shoulders and look at everybody from on high.

After Veliko Turnovo we left to Black Sea. We stayed at a great place with many pools on their property and drove around when we got bored there. We did a lot of this:

I am glad Matt had some time off of work and got to relax a little. He's been working hard these last couple months and comes home very tired. All in all this little getaway turned out great and we enjoyed it very much. If only we could do it every month.

Kids were such good sport this week and walked a ton without complaining. Some days we had happy kids and some days were a lot of crying and whining (as well as fighting). But with so many kids it was expected.
