My first jewelry post!
This is the first necklace and bracelet set that I made last week. What do you think? I usually prefer wearing silver over gold, but I really like the gold in these :)

Happy 2010!
It is another new year! Wahoo! Time to set your goals for 2010! Are you going to start going to the gym again? Start up a new diet? Decide how much weight you want to lose? Break that bad habit? Decide that you will never be late to anything again? (i'm always late) Are you going to start reading that book again and vow to read it everyday and finish it before the end of the year? (you know what book i'm talking about. if not, that's ok. just ask me and i will get it to you right away. it's great!)
All of the above are on my list too, but I have a new one that I have never attempted before. Recently, I have developed a desire to make my own jewelry. It's fun and I love what I end up with! I love it so much that I want to share it with you! So, I opened up an etsy account and am going to start up my own jewelry shop! I will post the link once it is somewhat ready for the public.
I want to be really serious about this new jewelry hobby, but those who know me know that I tend to be a little ADD with things like this. One week, I might love taking pictures and decide that I am going to start a photography business. The next week, I may love baking and decide that I am going to open up a bakery. The week after that I might watch a wedding cake show on TLC and decide that I want to be a wedding cake maker! I went through all these phases and so many more. (my scrapbooking phase comes and goes) But hey! Who knows? Maybe one day I will be all these things!
One thing that I am sure of, however, is that I want to be a mother! Ok, sorry for that that tangent. Back to jewelry.
This is why I started this blog. I decided that maybe if I started a blog about this jewelry phase i'm going through, it might last a little longer than a week. Now who's with me?!!?
On this blog, I am open to tips and suggestions and constructive criticism, but please try not to be too harsh. And of course, your support is always welcome!
