The Little Nemeceks

Our wonderful babysitter took Nathan and his best friend Andrew to see Santa today, and he had a wonderful time. We got a very nice picture of Nathan sitting on Santa's lap.

Every year, NCC puts on a live nativity scene at Lincoln Park, complete with animals, characters, and an angel choir. Last year Nathan was baby Jesus, and slept through the whole thing. This year, I wanted him to experience the real thing, so we walked over before church. I showed Nathan the baby goats, sheep, and llamas, but he was not impressed (he prefered the sheep's water bowl to the actual sheep!). However, he did very much enjoy his Christmas cookie. About a month ago, Josh recorded himself reading a book to Nathan. He had it put on a mini DVD and sent the book and the DVD to us, which we received earlier this week. I had my dad take a video of Nathan and I watching the video for the first time. Nathan was paying very close attention to his daddy on the TV for almost all of the time he was reading, even if he didn't want to sit in my lap the whole time. I think we're just all glad that Nathan recognizes his daddy and is so happy to see him on the TV. We love you, Josh!

Nathan has decided that it is high time he feeds himself, all by himself, and I have caught it on video!
