Our Little Super Hero!
There was no way I could pass on this great deal at Big Lots :) These pj's truly are packed with power!!!!!!!!

some fun things we've done...
Cheered on cousins Ryn and Madison in the Prentiss Christian beauty pageant! This is a fundraising pageant put on by the graduating class each year for the school. They looked beautiful! (we think Aunt Sissy has decided to take a break from pageants for a while, though!) :)
Had a great time at the local 2011 March of Dimes Walk for Babies! Aunt BB and Dylan participated too and there was a special appearance from DORA! (Jobi loved her from a distance... up close, not so much!)
"Parrothead Night at The Pete!" USM baseball... as you can see, our very own "parrothead" in the guys pic :) I also took pics of the Buffett-inspired, blue floral jerseys (yes you read that right) the players wore!! But you couldn't really tell in the pictures, so just decided to leave those out. After the game, they even had a Buffett tribute band play in The Roost. What a fun night!

The Weekend for Birthdays!
I celebrated my birthday this year (April) with this special little guy!!!
My little cousin "Baby Fleet" :) ... it was fun to share the day with a lot of friends and family and helping Fleetwood IV turn ONE!

And Big Sister, Logan!! Also, the party would not be complete without a pontoon ride! There somewhere is a little "first mate" waving to his Mommy (AKA - Jobi Potin) :)
And... we celebrated a THIRD birthday! MS ALPHA PI BETA PHI TURNED 50!! A VERY fun-filled birthday weekend I had - celebrating with all my sisters!!! It was so special to be reunited with dearest friends and to honor all of Pi Phi's fun times and achievements over the past FIFTY years! Wow. This is a pic of me and Jennifer "Tregre" Walker - my sorority big sis and often mistaken long-lost TWIN! haha

CATCHING UP! (again!!! finally!!!)
We've been enjoying our crazy-busy, beautiful life :) Here are some posts and pics to play "catch up." Jobi is so full of life and SPUNK! He's so smart, independent, imaginative, expressive, and all the fun stuff that goes into a 3 1/2 yr-old going on 30! As always, we try to cherish every single moment of every single day to its fullest! He makes life so fun :)

"BULL RIDE!"
This is Jobi's current reward for no "time-out" at school :-) Going on a "BULL RIDE!" (AKA: wheelbarrow ride). Daddy started this and I'm afraid it won't be going away anytime soon! So until then... Chris, just think of it as good exercise!

Birthdays and Baseball :)
Saturday before last, Jobes had two back-to-back birthday parties. Seems like it's 'Tis the Season - we have another one this weekend! The first party at Kids Rule was for a daycare/Sunday school classmate, Jackson and a second party at Kids in my Kitchen for another little schoolmate, Izabella. Jobi and Izabella have been together at Crayon College since he first began at 8 months old! They're big buddies :) We had so much fun celebrating with friends! Here are a few pics...

Jobi didn't care much for the cake, but devoured his ice cream and was then ready to hit the jumps again!
He made friends with one of the young lady employees... it was all over after that ;-) Just check out that happy little boy!

After a morning filled with birthday celebrations, we moved the party to The Pete!!!! OPENING DAY OF USM BASEBALL! Here's to a GREAT, fun season!

Come Lately...
Some FUN we've had since Christmas :)
Behind that sparkler is my little brave man, Jobes! (Fearless) HAPPY NEW YEAR! :-)
We celebrated Daddy's birthday!! (last one to go before the BIG 4-0!)
Chris's birthday is January 2nd ~ so for a combination Christmas/birthday gift, I got us tickets to see Randy Newman w/Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. He was FABULOUS!!! Saturday we drove downtown to enjoy some time around NOLA. And no trip to NOLA is complete without eating at Chris's fave restaurant - Felix's :-)
We've taken in some Golden Eagle bball - GREAT season so far!! Check out that crowd! (too bad we LOST this game vs Memphis - it was huge)
We got into some permanent marker... *sigh* (haha)
WE HAVE BECOME COMPLETELY POTTY TRAINED! YAHOO!!!!! :-) :-) :-)
As a prize for filling up his sticker board (for going potty) :-) - Jobi got to pick out his own treats. His choices - a Buzz Lightyear rocketship play hut and Shrek silly bands!
CAN I GET ANOTHER "YAHOOOOOO??!!" (Now, if we can just the thumb-sucking thing knocked out!)
We got a first "official" salon haircut! We needed to just develop the pattern of his hair and now Papa can keep it trimmed for us :-) Thanks Mrs Sheil for the new DO! We <3 it!!
Our project at school helped us discover that we'll have an EARLY SPRING! (bring it on... we want it NOW!) :-)
We celebrated another Super Bowl with great friends - you know... toys and cheetos. That's Jobes's kind of football watching :-) Sadly, our Saints are not world champs this year... but we were happy to sport our Green Bay attire (#4 - heehee) and cheer the Packers on to a WIN!
