We didn't get much rain this spring but the one time we did it flooded everything. Here Evy is splashing her heart out at the school playground. Make note her pants are outside of the boot, but she insisted.

This year was Evelyn's last year at preschool. It is a bitter sweet time. I'm so proud of how she's grown and yet we'll miss the quite, calm, and collected basement which is "Miss Nancy's." I never really formally observed the class so I decided since the year was winding down that I would sneak a peek. Nancy was moving from this location that she had been at for years so it was a great time to get shots from this original space. The top 2 photos are of Evy and her best bud Ava working together on a book called "Parts of the Frog" The next photos are of the singing time they do. I just love how Nancy has them stretch their mouths like a real singer. I know Evy will miss Nancy and Rebekeh so much, the are the best teachers. I hope I get to say that at the end of every year.

This winter has been so beautiful that it lead to a beautiful spring and we made it to the beach pretty early. Here's just a couple photos of our visit. Grant was off running around and I couldn't get a shot of him.

We have got a fun place here called Mess-terpiece, where kids can get very messy making art. Evy and her buddy Justin had loads of fun and made some mess-terpieces. They have bubble art where bubbles mixed with paint drop down onto the paper and pop making circles and splats. At each of the stations they learned about animals while making spider webs and frogs. The last thing we did was dress up the kids in rain coats, rain pants, and rain boots and send them into a room with booming music and drums with paint to make a mess, of course. Aren't they cute?
