Merry Christmas from The Lowerys. We were a little late on mailing out Christmas cards this year, so I guess this is the next best thing. We hope all of you had a safe and happy holiday!
On our way to my parents house in Beaumont, I took a great picture of Hagen in the car. The drive was long, but we found ways to past the time. Most of it spent spoiling Hagen with back scratches.
While we were in Beaumont visiting, we got the chance to visit with Jenn, Trav, and Madison Clegg. It has been over six months since I have seen Madison and my how she has grown. She is crawling now, army style. Trav is so proud of her crawling style!
Madison is also pulling up on anything she can get her hands on, but she is a little unsure of taking steps by herself. A few more months and I think Jenn will be chasing her around the house.

Here we are all together at Theresa and Stevo's house. It was so nice for Drew to finally meet Trav, Teresa, and Steve.

Well, my parents were a little behind the ball this year on hanging their Christmas decorations, so Drew and I lent a helping hand. Drew helped Dad with the lights while I was inside decorating the tree.

Aidan, Melissa and J were not arriving until the next day which gave Dad and Drew some time to put together Aidan's Christmas gift. We wanted it charged and ready to go on Christmas morning for the little guy.
Christmas Eve afternoon was really busy getting ready for everyone to come over for dinner. Drew and I had a blast baking my extra special lemon sugar cookies.
Here is my assistant dusting the cookies with powdered sugar. Great job honey!
Austin was a silly as ever on Christmas Eve. He will be going into pre-kindergarten next year. I cannot believe how fast everyone is growing up.
Aidan a J took a moment to play with Aidan's new pocket size magnadoodle. That kid loves those things. I thought this was a really sweet picture of the two guys.

Well, the magnadoodle makes another appearance. Aidan wanted me to play too!
Christmas Eve this year brought back a lot of childhood memories for me. The next generation of Lovois are getting into presents and growing up. This is what my grandparents house looked like about 20 years ago. Grandma and Grandpa would be so proud!

Christmas Eve night was so special because not only were the Lovois there, so were the Stanleys. Here is Mom, Jodi, Abby, Elisa, Aunt Faye and Uncle David.

Here are some of the Lovois. Mel, Wyatt, Mom, Me, Aunt Liz and Shelle.
Drew and I took a moment to take a picture before midnight mass.

Merry Christmas morning! Aidan and Taddy were catching up on some sugars.
Before we opened gifts, Aunt Jenny and Aidan took time to play on the Thomas the Train website. Aidan will walk up to the computer desk, climb in the chair, and say Tau, Tau until someone comes and plays with him.
Aunt Jenny slepted on a blow up mattress that made a great bouncy bag for Aidan. Jenny would jumped, Aidan would fly, Taddy would catch. It was too cute!
Here are Daddy and son wearing matching Madrid soccer jerseys they got for Christmas from Santa.
One of Aidan's other favorite gifts was his drum. This child loves listening to the Aggie Band, so a drum of course made complete sense. Ask Melissa and J and they may disagree with you. We will put on Aggie Band and Aidan will bounce and bang for you!
Take a second to watch this video. Aidan is an Aggie Drum Major in training.
The best was saved for last for Aidan. Remember the gift that Drew and Dad were putting together. Well, here it is. A Lowe's NASCAR powerwheel complete with reverse and forward capability. He went crazy when he found it he could make it move on his own.
Here is Drew helping him find the gas pedal.

Aidan had to give Mommmy a ride. Of course, we did not go far because Melissa has a baby on board. The picture was so sweet! We had a great time visiting with everyone this Christmas and now . . . Drew and I are going to take some time to relax before we go back to work next year. Happy New Year's!
