10 Year Reunion

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. We have been so busy traveling and working. I am sorry to say that I lost our pics from Florida, and I am really upset because we had some great shots. Robert E Lee had their 10 year high school reunion this weekend at Hollytree. We had a great time getting together with all of Drew's friends from high school.

We met Matt and Melinda at their house before the dinner for a few drinks.

A few of Drew's friends hanging out.

Eric and Elyse Thompson made the trip from Dallas to come and see everyone. Eric is one of Drew's closest friends from Tyler.

Trey and Dana Hughey also came to the reunion. Dana is expecting as well, but with twins!

Labor Day in Beaumont

For Labor Day, Drew headed to Abilene for opening weekend of dove season and I headed home to hang with the family. Aidan showed us his great driving skills and then we rocked out before bedtime.

Aidan was was up very early Sunday morning knocking on Aunt Laurie's door asking for "more mil, more". In Aidan language that means milk, chocolate if we have some. He has learned the word please, but it comes out sounding "pees". I cracked up laughing when I opened my door to see my nephew sporting the rocker hairstyle. Sanjaya has nothing on my little guy!

After a morning drink, it was bath time. Aidan loved the bubbles until they got in his eyes. Aunt Laurie learned why you should use Johnson's Baby Shampoo not Herbal Essense for bubbles. Sorry little man!

Here are a few snaps with Aunt Laurie. Aidan was the cutest and most well behaved child in Sunday morning Mass. When we got back from Holy Communion, Aidan took his communion. He said "Amen" each time before he ate a Cheeto. Mom and I almost lost it in church. Hilarious.

The family headed out to Jimmy and Shelle's ranch in China for Labor Day dinner. Aidan had the best time riding Austin and Wyatt's tractor. I do not think animals are ready for sippee cups though.

J.W. had to hold Aidan while the animals ate their dinner. There were some pretty big elk out there.

Good times with cousins Wyatt, Austin, and Caroline.

"What Mom, I did not spray anyone."
