Almost There

Just a few updates on the house. We are set to move in the second week of September finally!
The front entryway. You cannot tell from this picture, but our front door is actually a double door. Since this picture, the painters have stained both doors a deep mahogany color.
Dining Room color. You can get a better feel of the room size from the previous picture.
Side 1 of the kitchen before wall paint.
Side 2 of the kitchen. The contractors will install a cook top under the venthood and an under/ over oven off to the left of the venthood this week.
Close up of the venthood. We are having the same color brick from the exterior installed as a back splash on this wall.
Granite in master bathroom. This is the color scheme for the other two baths. We cannot wait to finally move in and promise to put up more pics soon.

Pregnancy Update

We are half way there. 20 weeks wayhoo!

Ron White

Ron White came to the Sanger Theater in Pensacola and we had second row seats. It was fantastic! The theater reminds me so much of the old Jefferon Theater in Beaumont. His facial expression were hilarious. The rumors are try he smokes his cigar and drinks whiskey the whole time on stage.
Got to keep the cigar lit.

Orange Beach, AL

Last week we headed to Orange Beach for a little r&r with the Lovoi family. It was so nice to visit with everyone and soak up the sun. The condo we stayed in was lovely, especially the patio. It took a while to adjust to height though. We were on the 9th floor, but the view was gorgeous.
The gang heading out to the beach. I just realized that I did not take one single picture acutally at the beach. Whoops!
Emalie a little thirsty? No problem.
Cheap entertainment, a little water provided by Mother Nature.
We celebrated Drew and I's birthday while at the beach. The family bought a cake and we opened presents.
Yummy cake! White cake and white icing. Just the way I like it.
I love the duffle bag! It will be great for road trips back to Texas. Plenty of room for baby things.
No more pics please.
Say cheese Ms. Emalie.
Drew was so excited about his gifts.
Something really special, our first gifts for Baby Lowery. In case you cannot read the caption on the onesie it says "My First Tree Stand".
Camo booties, love it!!
Mom knows I love to read so she bought a sweet book with beautiful pictures that I know Baby Lowery will love to listen to. Mom and Dad also gave us a soft footsie.

Aidan and his beloved glow sticks. Every night we would go onto the patio and have a light show.
Sweet baby girl.
The kiddos playing trains.
Mom and Emalie saying cheese right before dinner. We had so much fun and cannot wait to make this an annual tradition. Thank you Mom and Dad for an awesome week. We love you!!
