Baby Lowery's First Close Up

Drew and I had probably one of the most exciting experiences of our lives thus far. Last Tuesday we were able to have our first glimpses of our sweet, precious baby boy. We had the chance to see our boy open and close his mouth, kick his legs and straighten his arms. Everyone, we would like to introduce you to our son Luke Henry Lowery.
One common theme you will notice throughout these photos is that he really likes to have his arms very close to his head. It is funny, people always say that your child tends to sleep in the same position as they were in the womb. If this is true we will need to purchase several mittens for Luke to sleep in so that he does not scratch his sweet face.
Luke showing us his long fingers. Looks like the fingers of a tight end to us.
This is one of my favorite shots.
This shot was really neat. The sonogram tech was able to get a full body side profile shot. Notice his long legs on the left side of the screen.
One thing we all agree on is this child is going to have rather large feet. Poor Luke did not have a chance with his Momm having size 9s and his Pop having size 14s. We cannot wait to meet the little guy. 3 months and counting. Shots of the new house to follow!!

Sunny Days in Largo

We headed down to Largo, Florida to celebrate August birthdays, see Allison and Byron's new home, and just to visit. Drew, Byron, Claire and Caroline all have birthdays within two weeks of each other. Here is the sunset on the Gulf one night. Beautiful right?

Our nieces have grown up so quickly. The girls just had their swing set installed in their new home.

Gift from Mimi and Papa Lowery, tetherball. Windsor wanted to get in on the action.

The girls were really interested in the preggers belly. Every few minutes they would run up and rub the belly hoping to feel Baby Lowery kick.

Pregnant lady on the loose. It was a beautiful day outside.

Drew and Claire Bear racing to the water. Claire had her Uncle Drew there for a while.
I love this picture of Drew with the girls. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be the best Daddy a kid could hope for. One day this will be our little guy on the swing.
Uncle Drew took a rest and Claire gave it a try.

The Lowerys at sunset.

This picture cracks me up. It looks like a Costa Del Mar advertisement you would see in a Cabella's or Bass Pro Shop magazine.
On Saturday we took the boat out to a deserted barrier island in the Gulf. It was beautiful and not a sole around. Some of the best shell collecting we have ever had.The girls are both really great and competitive swimmers.
Ok this is probably the only full body preggo shot you are going to get. I am 24 weeks in this picture. We stopped off at Carlouel Yacht Club for a cool drink and swim.
Caroline and Uncle Drew
Caroline brought a friend to play for the day. They really enjoyed Drew tossing them around on the Hotdog float.
We pulled the girls for a while on the Hotdog behind the boat.
Thumb's up, go a little faster please.

We also brought out the knee board too. Caroline was a pro.
Say cheese.

I have never seen Drew knee board before. He is a fantastic water sports athlete. He had another close call with his glasses, but luckly saved them at the last minute. We had such a great time visiting family and cannot wait to see them soon. We love you guys!!
