Alabama Birthday

On December 21st Luke turned a year old.  We celebrated just the 3 of us by enjoying some cupcakes.
Uh, maybe this tastes ok.

Hmm, I could eat this icing all day.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
We had a small get together with a few of our closest friends.

Yaegar's and Lowery's.

We gave Luke a red rocking chair as one of his gifts.

Just the right size!

He experienced balloons for the first time and ...

loved them!

Luke's best bud Grant loves balloons.  When I say love, I really mean borderline infactuation.  He runs around the house carrying them saying "BALLOON, BALLOON".  Too funny.
Luke's most favority gift is his new Cozy Coupe.  It is still really chilly here, but he loves strolling the neighborhood and honking the horn.  We love you so much Luke and hope you enjoyed your birthday!

Most Wonderful Time of the Year

We headed to Florida this year for Christmas with the Lowery's and had a blast.  It is hard to believe that this time last year Luke was only a few days old. The weather was great until the last day which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.

We had a small family birthday party for Luke during our visit.  Luke really had a great time opening his gifts.  He really is not into ripping the paper just yet, but seemed interested in finding out what was under the wrapping.

Cellphone from Mimi and Papa, he loves this toy in the car.

Stuffed animal with house from Mimi Pat.

Our little guy on Christmas day enjoying his red hat from Mimi Pat.

Caroline on her endo board.  She has such great balance!

Drew helping Claire learn how to use the skateboard.

Just us girls and Luke of course.

The wind was absolutely howling on the last day.  Case in point, my hair was flying everywhere.

We had so much fun visiting over the holidays.  Thank you to Aunt Allison and Uncle Byron for a great time and yummy food too!  We loved seeing everyone and celebrating Lukes birthday.
