Recent Adventures

Sorry it has been so long since we posted.  The Lowery family has been really busy the last couple of weeks.  Here are some updated pics.

We headed to Texas to celebrate Taddy's 60th birthday over Memorial day.  We had so much fun playing with family and friends.  Love you Taddy!

Winding down with Dada.

We headed back to Texas to celebrate my good friend, Charles' engagement.  We spent a few days at Aunt Melissa and Uncle J's house.  Never a dull moment with miss Emalie!

Silly girl.

Is it a bad thing if almost everything Luke picks up he pretends it is a phone?  guess he gets this from Mommy and Daddy.

Horsing around with cousins Adian and Emalie.

We took the boat for a spin to Dauphin Island this weekend with our good friends the Yaegers.  Hey Jena, look I spelled it right!!

The boys had a great time exploring our little private part of the beach.

Luke was very comfortable in the water.  So much, that he did not want anyone's help.  He dunked himself a few times, but popped right back up.  Mommy and Daddy were never more than one step behind him, no worries Grandparents.  Luke is getting so brave these days, sometimes a little too brave for Mommy's comfort.
Time for a cold one.

We had a great time hanging with our pals this weekend at the beach and cannot wait to do it again soon!
Tukered out after a lond day of swimming.

Love riding with Mommy on her bike.

Yummy spaghetti.

Just hanging out in my chair.

Chewing the Fat

Saturday morning we hung out with the Yaegar's after Luke got his big boy hair cut.  You can see it is quite short, but it is growin on us.  Summer is here and it is so hot so the shorter hair will be much cooler for him.  Ron and Jena were busy cleaning out there garage so I had the chance to play with Luke and Grant.  I was talking with Ron when we turned around and saw this.  Luke and Grant had grabbed a few paint cans and decided to sit and chew some fat.  How funny is this picture!!  Luke loves hanging out with his buddy.

Pink Eye

A picture is worth a thousand words.  I got a call from school a few days ago and Luke's teacher said his eye was getting a little red and puffy.  Pink eye is going around like the plague here in South Alabama, so I knew right away we had pink eye.  Above is at the dr office waiting.

Swolen shut after nap time that same day.  Time passed - about 2 hours.

Later than same day.  Poor guy.  Luke actually did pretty well with pink eye.  It was really itchy so I kept a warm towel close by to wipe away the ooey gooey.  We kept our hands cleaned and wiped down all toys touched at night to ensure no sharing of germs.  After 3 days he was back to normal.  Felt sorry for the little guys as it looked like he was in a fight!
