Christmas Day

Thank you Nana & Pops for the art easel for Jonas and music stand for Reese. SuSu & Poppa, thank you for the remote control car and little tykes workshop for Jonas and the cool light-up toy and crawling ducks for Reese. We got Reese her first Cabbage Patch doll and Jonas a lap-top. And you would know with all the new toys, the kids still love their old ones and have been playing with them all day. Jonas has been using the chalk board on his easel and Reese loves pressing all the buttons on her music stand. Thank you grandparents and mom & dad for our fun gifts this year.

Thank you mamaw and Jason for helping prepare our Christmas meal. It was delicious!!!

Update on the kids: Reese has been crawling for 2 weeks now. She has pulled down a snow-globe and it shattered all over her.... glitter, water, glass and all. She wasn't even scared. Jonas didn't pull things when he crawled and Reese has already started.
Jonas had his 2nd birthday on December 22 and we celebrated in a very relaxing way at home. On Sunday we went to Hot Springs and enjoyed some shopping and a good steak in honor of Jonas. It was what we did last year on his birthday too.
I have been sick for the past 4 days and have slept the time away. I didn't even get up on Christmas Day due to being sick. I am better now and taking medicine so hopefully this sickness will pass soon. Jason is off all week and will be keeping the kids as I go back to work tomorrow. We hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas. Sorry for not sending a Christmas card. I bought them in the fall but never got the picture printed to stick on it. I know most of you keep up with us through the blog anyway. We love you all!

p.s. If you sent us a card, we LOVED it. Thank you for the pictures, sweet words, and letters.

Christmas Eve

We have spent the past couple of days with my parents here in North Little Rock. We opened all our presents from one another tonight and will wait for Santa to bring his goodies on Christmas Day. Jason and I will exchange our gifts Christmas night once we get home. We enjoyed celebrating one another and being together.

Reese staring at her new gift still in the box. Of course Reese loved the tissue paper and decided to even make it "candy".

My Birthday Guests & Cake

These are my friends that came to my party. Mommy, Daddy, Su-Su, Poppa, Mamaw Dorothy, and Reese were there too. And of course my friends' parents were there!

"It's my party & I'll cry if I want to..."

We had Jonas's 2nd birthday party at Gymboree this year. It was lots of fun for the kiddos!! It seems that Jonas was a bit overwhelmed with all the attention when we sang Happy Birthday. He enjoyed playing though, and also opening his presents. Thank you friends and family for coming to his party and celebrating with us. Here are some of the fun presents he received this year: a firetruck, mega blocks, battery operated 4-wheeler (thanks Su-Su & Poppa), blocks, crayons that are just my size, Little Tykes car garage (thanks Nana & Pops), magna-doodle, books, ball, tricycle (thanks Grandma Doreen), Little Tykes boat for the tub, helicopter, and a spider-man Mr. Potato Head. THANK YOU FOR ALL MY NEAT PRESENTS AND COMING TO MY PARTY!

The last pic, Jason & Jonas, were pretending to eat food and Jonas thought it was the funniest thing. I captured Jonas smiling and loved his expression.

I'm a bowling man!

Jonas loves to bowl. We all went with Jason's fam this past weekend and we had to get Jonas his own lane because it was too hard for him to take turns among 6 people. He really enjoys pushing the ball off of the lift. He also liked running around and having Grandma Doreen chase after him.
