Jonas as a babe
Here is a pic of Jonas's hair when he was 6 wks old. Several people have asked me if Jonas had as much hair as Reese and if it was as dark as hers. Well, you can see that it surely was dark and much longer than hers now. I am trying to find similar baby pics of both kids so we can compare their looks.
Just a swingin' & explorin'
I got to play outside today and it was lots of fun. I played in my water table, threw the ball with Millie, swang with daddy, and walked around the yard. If you don't already know this, grass is not my favorite thing. Mommy is so proud of me for getting in it today! Reese update
I took Reese to the doctor today about her eyes. It appears that the left eye is bulging some and I wanted our pediatrician's opinion. He seems that maybe the right eye-lid is a little lazy and it gives the illusion that the left eye is standing out. He thinks that there is nothing wrong, but is referring us to an eye specialist to make sure. Of course as a mom, I was terrified before going to the doctor today. I cried and cried the night before in fear of something being really wrong. I was relieved to hear that our doctor is not worried and thinks there is nothing to this. I am not sure of when our eye appt is but should know on Wednesday. I will keep you guys updated. Also, we weighed Reese today and she is a whopping 11lbs 7oz. When I say that girl likes to eat, I am not kidding!!!

my new fascination...
Jonas has discovered his belly button and LOVES it. He pulls on his shirt all the time to see it and then shows it off to anyone that asks about it. Here he is lying in front of our back door showing me his belly hole.
Big MOMMA!
Look at that double chin?? I must say Reese is a pig and LOVES her milk. She is a great eater and as of last Wednesday, weighed 9lbs 11oz. I am sure by now she is at 10 lbs. She has had some acid reflux trouble that sent us to the ER and to her pediatrician. She is taking zantac twice a day and it seems to be helping her.
She is also 4 weeks old today and I can't believe it! She is eating every 2-3 hours and is finally starting to wake up and show those eyes in between feeds. For a while there, she only ate and slept. We enjoy her being alert more and more. She has not vomited in a week....yeah!!!! And has not spit up much. We have moved to a size one diaper that still cuts into her chubby thighs.
p.s. A BIG thanks to my mom, Aunt Deborah, Aunty Kathy, and Mamaw Dorothy for driving up last weekend to help me out while Jason was out of state. We had a great girls' weekend enjoying one another and Aunt Deb stayed with us helping take care of Jonas. Thank you so much for helping me! I couldn't have done it without you!!
Easter '07
Yes, I am a wee bit late in this post. We had a good Easter weekend!! Jason's mom, Grandmother Doreen, came to visit and brought us lots of goodies. Then on Easter day we went to my mom's, Su-Su's, for lunch and more goodies. I decked Reese in pink from head to toe with her "First Easter" outfit. Jonas really enjoyed digging through his Easter basket and liked his Elmo toy the best!

"She's my lil darling"... jonas
Reese was finally awake long enough so I started snapping pics fast of both kiddos. Jonas just got out of the tub and dad put him in his snow-man pj's....tis the season! Jonas is really getting so much better learning to share his time. I am very proud of him! This week he did great in waiting patiently if I was feeding Reese and he wanted something. Jonas also started back to day-care and that might have something to do with it. I took 50 pics and thought these were the sweetest. I love watching Jonas inquire about Reese. He has found her nose and touches her hair throughout the day. I can't wait for her to notice him. What joy to have siblings!

Playdate, Playdate!
Reese had her first playdate today with Jackson & Sydney. All 3 precious babes were born in March and J & S were born on the same day! Reese slept the entire time while Jackson ate and Sydney was wide-eyed. It was so fun and encouraging being with new moms and talking about our babies. Thank you Lauren for having us over! I look forward to another relaxing afternoon hanging out.
