playin' away!
Just a regular ole day in the Lozada house. We were blowing bubbles and the kids really enjoyed catching them. Jonas has been hitting, scratching, pushing, etc on Reese and it seems that NO discipline works for him. We have tried spanking, time-out, and taking toys away, but nothing seems to help the problem. Hopefully he will grow out of this stage soon. Yesterday he scratched her forehead and today pushed the bar-stool into her face causing her mouth to bleed. Maybe this is a boy thing. I also think he's a lil' jealous. I know that when Reese is able to fight back, she is going to show him who's boss.

Jonas loves pudding but gets it everywhere. Just a good example of where his pudding lands when he eats it. And all the pudding came out of the sweater after I put half a bottle of SHOUT on it.

We are special!
My girlfriends, Andi and Sarah, came and hung out with us last weekend. Andi works with me and Sarah is a travel nurse where she was at ACH 2 years ago. We have kept in touch and remained friends even though we have been many miles apart. Andi & I are begging Sarah to come back to Arkansas to be with us. Anyhoo, we had a great time playing cards, eating, and chatting. I love you girls. Thank you for loving me and my family.

Parents have fun too!
So this weekend, Robert (Jason's brother) and his wife Jamie Lee, drove from MS to visit us for Superbowl weekend!! It has been a joy to have them here with us. We were able to have a date night on Saturday and went to eat and shop. Thanks for helping with the kids and loving on them. Uncle Bert has been teaching Jonas what animals say and Aunt JL has been teaching Reese to maintain that beautiful smile with all the pictures she has taken. We also had a good time watching the Super Bowl... way to go GIANTS!!!!!... but the kids were hard to handle. Jonas cried, whined, hit Reese on the head, etc and Reese kept crying too, bumping her head, choking on her snack, etc... and at times it was frustrating, but we made it through. We were able to watch the last 2 minutes without the kiddos and that was the best part anyway. We miss you Grandma Doreen, Aunt Jenn, and Aunt Laura. See you guys next time!
