For all you Mississippians that don't see us often, just look how much Reese has grown. She just looks so big coming down the slide. These were actually taken a couple of weeks ago. I have several posts that took place before her birthday that I need to put on here. For some reason, blogging has not been on the to-do list for the last 3 months. It is something I enjoy if I start but other wise have not had much of an interest. I love looking at your blogs, so I should do better! Ya'll have a wonderful Saturday and weekend. Today is Mamaw Dorothy's birthday and we have a cake for her and Reese. Will post the celebration soon, and hopefully not in 3 weeks. Ha Ha!

Our favorite..... the slide!

Happy 2nd Birthday Reese!
We started out our day with Poppa bringing us Chic-Fil-A for lunch. That is a favorite at our house! You wore a beautiful and fun dress that SuSu got you that says, "Birthday Girl" on the front. You cried the first 20 minutes you had it on because you didn't like the tu-tu. By george, I was going to make you wear it! You finally moved past your drama and then insisted on wearing 2 bows. I snuck one out of your hair as we were getting out of the car-seat. You never knew it. Then we decided to celebrate today by going to the zoo. Daddy was working and missed the fun, but SuSu joined us.... and that's always a treat! This is right when we got there......

And of course you are happy to see the animals!
We took a break to eat cotton candy, which is something we always get at the zoo and circus!
And of course you had to throw a fit on your birthday. You did this out of nowhere, and mommy has no idea where the rage came from. It lasted about 30 seconds and you moved on. And there were 2 ladies staring at you (and me) wondering why I wasn't giving you a spankin!
You coming down the slide!
Jonas coming down the slide!
And yes.... Jonas threw him a fit too. I took the pic in a wide range so you could see he just wasn't "resting" in the middle of the sidewalk, but actually MAD and throwing a fit. His lasted longer than 30 sec. Try 2 minutes. I finally had to threaten him that he would have to go to daycare if he didn't move it! He got up and walked very SLOWLY to us. Gotta love kids and their mood swings!
Playing on the play-ground. Probably was their favorite part about the day!
We came home from the zoo and Mamaw Dorothy had made us home-made apple tarts! They were delicious. Reese had 2 of them and they are not small. Thank you Mamaw for cooking them all day and having them ready for us when we got back from the zoo. **Don't have pics of us eating them but be jealous, because they were probably 1000 calories a piece**
We split from the rest of the family and Jason and I took Reese to eat Mexican. Here she is with red cheeks, wearing her pajama top, with rice all over her.

Big kisses to my baby girl! I really can't believe she is 2 already!

Reese, we have truly adored having you around. You being a girl was a surprise and you have added so much flavor to our family. You are a hoot and have tons of personality. You are shy at first and it usually takes you about 30 minutes to come out of your shell. You talk all the time and even say sentences. You love your brother, but at this point, he just loves aggravating you. And watch out, this might never change. Here are some other things you enjoy, like, do, dis-like, etc.....

But then climbed into my arms.
Reese's b-day dessert! Yummy!Big kisses to my baby girl! I really can't believe she is 2 already!

You love your brother, but at this point, he just loves aggravating you. And watch out, this might never change. Here are some other things you enjoy, like, do, dis-like, etc.....
Interests: playing with trucks, baby dolls, kitty cats, animals, reading books, chewing gum
Fav foods: fruit, french fries, chicken nuggets, rice, macaroni, suckers
Reese-isms: The other day Jonas said something about his penis and Reese said, "I want one." When you see basketball on tv, you always say, "Duke". If you know Jason, he has her trained! One day Reese fell at a local park by our house. Everytime we pass the park she says, "Remember, fell and hit head." After I pick her nose and she takes a glance at the booger, she says, "gross".
Hates: washing hair, mommy picking your nose, Jonas biting, hitting, scratching
Loves: blanket & paci, being outside, playing chase, watching bull-riding with Jason, Poppa
I have no doubt that you will love others and be a unique character. We thank God for having you and placing you with us. Reese, you are full of energy and can be a fire-ball at times but SO much fun to be around. You are a leader and we see Jonas following you all the time. Reese, our prayer is that you seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind. We love you so much!
Mommy, Daddy, and Jonas
