Diggin' in mom's make-up

Reese got into my liquid blush and rubbed it on her cheek. We were getting ready for my mom's birthday dinner and she had on this white dress when she did it. I was able to grab a few pics before we got it off her face. And she only got a tiny spot on her dress!

Travs game

Walking to the game. We were all holding hands and I thought it was super sweet!
The view of Little Rock from the field.

Reese insisted on wearing her hot pink crocs despite me begging her to wear the cutest red sandals ever. We fought about it and she won after 15 minutes of crying. What difference does it make, right?

Midget wrestling.... not sure what I think about it.

Play equipment for the kids... and this is what we did instead of watching the baseball game.

So proud of Reese for climbing up and sliding down all by herself.

This slide was a little harder but Jonas and Reese loved it! It was really hot and stressful to be there with the kids. We never even saw a pitch or a hit. After the kids played, we headed to the house. Not sure that we will try this again until they are 6 and 8 :)

Before and After

This morning, I decided to flat iron Reese's hair to see how long it actually is. Her hair has been extra curly since all this rain. I couldn't believe how different she looked! I was able to trim the bottom since she hasn't ever had a hair cut. My girlfriend, Andi, was helping me distract Reese. The kiddos LOVE her and call her "Nanni". It's around 6pm and Reese just woke up from her nap. Her hair has already started curling back. It was fun for the day!!

Prayer Request

Got a couple for you today....

Family of Jordan Lindsey. Jordan died yesterday morning after battling cancer for 8mths. He was 22yrs old. He and his family live in MS. You can follow them and learn more about their precious family here.

Also, some dear friends of mine have a son with a heart issue. I don't know in detail about his little heart, but he undergoes his 2nd heart surgery on May 19th. His name is Corbin and he is 4mths old!! His parents are John and Kimberli and this is their 4th child. Of course this is very stressful on their family and they need you to lift them in prayer.
Pray that Corbin's surgery is a success, pray for the medical team, pray for his 3 siblings, and pray for Corbin's parents and grandparents. His surgery is at Arkansas Children's Hospital. This is stressful on the family alone because Corbin will be in his own bed space after surgery, and the parents are not allowed to stay with him. They can visit, but not sleep in the room with him. The parents then have to stay in a waiting room with many other parents and it can be tiresome doing this for 10 days (expected time for Corbin to be hospitalized). They are precious people who love the Lord and need for Him to cradle them in His arms.

With Kimberli's permission, here are pics from Corbin's first heart surgery!
Kimberli said his heart is about the size of an egg. AMAZING!!!!!
Corbin came thru surgery well (in February) but still has a narrowing (of something) that needs to be repaired.

Easter

This is Reese's Easter dress that I made. My aunt had the initials put on it for me.

our new toy....

The kids got a trampoline for Reese's birthday. They have really enjoyed jumping on it. And yes, we have the mesh cage that goes around it to keep them safer :)
