Madison and Jeremy went to a hunting safety class yesterday. It is mandatory here to have the class in order to get your hunting license. Madison has always wanted to go hunting with Jeremy so she was excited about going to the class yesterday. Within the first 10 minutes of the class, Jeremy had texted me and said that Madison said she wanted to shoot a deer, cut off it's neck and hang it on her wall! This is not something that I could see coming out of her mouth but she is so excited about it. I don't think I will have any deer heads hanging on my walls but I will gladly hang MANY pictures of the deer she shoots! She is ready to have target practice with bow and arrows and to go to Wal-Mart and buy her a BB Gun! Jeremy, of course, is eating up her excitement with pride! I can't wait for fall when they can go spend some quality daddy/daughter hunting time together.

This morning I was getting ready for worship and I was using the straight iron on my hair. Emma walks in to the bathroom and asks what I am doing. I tell her I am fixing my hair. She says, "But Mom, why are you burning your hair?" I didn't know whether to laugh or give her a weird look. She cracks me up!

This afternoon at lunch Joshua was singing "Praise Him, Praise Him, Jesus our Blessed Redeemer..." only his version was, "Raisins, Raisins, Jesus yayayaya!" Super cute if you ask us!

We were off last week and have also been getting lots of rain here in the SW corner of OK. So, on Sunday when we came home from church Madison wanted to play football with Daddy in the rain. That afternoon all three kids and Jeremy went and played football in the rain while Mommy took pictures! They had a blast and it was precious to me to watch them all LOVE their Daddy time!!! He is SOOOOO proud they all love football! Here are some of the pictures!I told Jeremy this was a great blog picture and a good blackmail picture for the kids one day! He is such a good Daddy!

Madison began first grade yesterday! She had a great day and was so thankful to see her friends! Most of her friends are in her class this year!!

Madison had a swimming party on Saturday! She had lots of fun! I can't believe my baby is 7!Joshua had a BLAST!!
