Soon
We are going on a long stretch here of daddy gone. First he was gone with the chicken pox for 10 days and then in Texas for 5 days. This was my last day with the kiddos before he returned so I thought I'd be fun and adventuresome and take the kiddos to a beach. I think we all decided to spontaneously combust at the same time and lets just say I did not have an emergency exit plan prepared. I noticed that the pictures are a little darker and that seems kind of appropriate. We are doing fine... it's just that life is not the same without daddy. I miss him and can't wait to be with him soon.
This is literally seconds before Will fell and busted open his elbow, Molly and Henry started crying because their feet hurt from the rocks and I almost started crying too (: The shuffling to get the beach bags packed up and the hike up the trail to the car were not pretty and I apologize to anyone who was at Larabee at the same time as us and lost their peaceful beach day. Anyway, our fun adventure out turned into a movie afternoon.

The Farm is a bloomin!
We headed out to John and Wendy's farm and were greeted by baby ducklings, bursting fields, dear family and after a beautiful day the sunset bid us farewell.
Should we end the day by running through the fields? Um, yes! I wish we could end every day this way, it makes the whole day feel complete.

Here we go a camping!
We were a very brave family and went camping for the first time! It was rainy the first night, which was kind of romantic in it's own way. The kids huddled under a tarp and played Ticket to Ride with hot cocoa and lanterns. Glad to say we survived (and had some fun in the mean time). It was a little cold, but all in all a great time and many memories made for us and our kiddos. It didn't hurt that we LOVE the people that we were with!
Coffee and bacon on a cold morning- this was a really good idea!
Our good friend is an expert climber so all the kiddos got to give climbing a try. I must say there were some talented kiddos there!
Henry was just a little too cool for climbing
We were surrounded by cute children
This little creek would be the perfect place to wade if it were just a wee bit warmer. Nonetheless, the kids spent plenty of time panning for gold with much success! (at least in their eyes).
Yeah. There were wildflowers. Enough said.
She loves me, she really does... or at least she really will (I'm persistent)
She could just about melt your heart.
These babies just kill me!
These two were adorable little buddies together.
