Never thought I would ever be, a busy mom chasing after three…

We have had so many exciting things going on around here! Some good and some bad! I will start with the bad just to get it over with...... On Sunday afternoon Scott had some pretty serious pains in his stomach, we tried everything to get rid of it and after a night of no sleep and even more pain in the morning I decided to call the doctor. We were in to see the doctor around one o'clock and they decided to send scott for a Cat scan on his abdomen. They gave him some pain medicine and sent us to the hospital.... We waited forever and finally found out that scott had acute appendicitis and that he needed surgery immediatley. Still I thought that acute meant minor and so I wasn't too upset, until my dad told me that acute meant about to burst! Crazy! Anyway, he weant in for surgery at 5:30 that evening. It all happened so quickly it was crazy! He came through it really well and acutally felt a whole lot better immediatly after the surgery than he did before. He was really groggy for the first few days but is recovering quite well and I am just happy that we caught it in time!

We also had a doctors appointment for Abby's foot (same day as the surgery) up in Salt Lake. The doctor is happy with how things are going except for the bone they removed last year is growing back..... yes growing back! Like a lizard that gets its tail cut off and grows it back! It will eventually have to be romoved again but we have a good year to wait so that is good news!

Okay on to the good stuff! Nicki and Sadie came to visit last week and we had sooooo much fun! We shopped like crazy and made lots of fun things! It was so great to be able to have someone from home come and see where we live and what we like to do. Sadie is just 5 months and I was so pleasantly suprised with how good abby was with her. She was actually really gentle and helpful with the baby. Nicki and I plan on doing this every year but I don't know if our husbands can afford the excessive shopping we do when we are together!!!! We will see! Nicki is sucha a great friend! Thanks for commingt Nick! I love ya!

Well I am off to take care of my recovering husband!

Sounds stupid but it is true! After being bottled up in our house for what seems like a lifetime and it was finally warm enough (over 50 degrees) to go outside. Abby was loving it! She was running all over exploring everything. It just made me even more anxious to get our yard done this next month. Its kind of a mess right now but luckily I am married to someone that acutally enjoys yard work so it should go pretty smoothly.
Things are going well around here. We are still in the countdown for weekends left of school and we are now down to 9!!!!!! And can hardly wait! Abby is at a really fun age right now! She runs everywhere and she talks to me constantly! I have no clue what she is saying but she is convinced I understand. She is just like her mother and uses her hands when she talks which I find very amusing. And just this morning she signed I love you! It was so cute!
I have been keeping myself busy reading the first page of every book abby has. That is about how long she lasts but she loves to read! I also have been scrapbooking a lot which i just love doing! I am now to the 3 month of abbys life! I find it so fulfilling and I love watching abby look through her book and point to all the people! It is so fun!
My friend Nicki is comming to visit us next week so I will be cleaning and trying to keep the house clean until then! We are so excited to have them come and stay with us for over a week! Abby is going to have so much fun with little Sadie who will be about 5 months old. Abby just loves babies!
For those who are curious I did get my entertainment center. I went with the second one down on the blog and I just love it! It looks so good and has so much storage I am just loving it!
