Seriously there are no words for how beautiful abby looked in her Christmas dress this year. Hence the many pictures to try and show it...... Seriously I could just eat her! In Hind-site I wish I would have taken these pictures with a white background so you could see Abby's cute black skirt but we were in a big hurry so I am happy with what we got! Major regret of the day... not getting a picture of Scott, Abby and I. This makes me so sad You have not idea! So we may have to have redo of the day and pretend it was on Christmas... we will see! My whole family was here for Christmas this year and it was great....So we decided to take a family picture. It was too cold to do one outside (we had a very white christmas this year!) So this will have to work for now. At least until Allen and Whitney's little boy is born in April!

Thank you Santa!

Thats right this year Santa gave me the best gift possible (next to a baby of course)..... Abby is officially potty trained! I could not be more excited about this recent development. She has not had any accidents in over a week and she even wore underwear to church and told her teacher when she had to go! Amazing! I did sink to a new low when I told her that santa does not come to three year olds who are not potty trained... but it worked so no guilt here! I had been working with her for a few days and then when my parents and brothers came something just clicked.... not a single accident since! No incentives, not even a candy or treat after she goes....I am just so happy that now I can put Abby in dance and Preschool! And if I can't have more baby's any time soon I may as well enjoy a diaper-less life right? Now I need to reward my self with purse instead of diaper bag! Can't wait!
PS We had an amazing christmas... More details to come!
Official date of potty training: December 20th 2008

Zoey
I am finally back to blogging! Anyone who follows my photography blog knows that I have been insanely busy.... way more than I would have liked to be! But I told myself I was going to be done on Friday and I am holding true to that! No more editing until the first of the year! And except for a few christmas cards I need to finish up and catching up on this blog I am not going to be on my computer! Sooooo.....
Here is Zoey! Our not so new puppy..... We have had her now for over a month and a half. These pictures were taken when we first got her and she was beyond cute! She is still really cute just not nearly as small. For my sake I wish she would have stayed small but for her own sake it is for sure good that she has gotten bigger! Abby was pretty hard on her in her brand new days... but things have definately gotten better! She is very playful and I have to break up fights between her and Abby all day long... but I have to tell you she is worth it.
Most people who know me know that I am for sure not an animal person. My husband is however so I knew that it was inevitable that we were going to have to get one someday. Why now you ask, well honestly I did mostly for Abby. I just wanted her to have some kind of companion until we can have more children. And that part of having a dog has really paid off! I just love watching her run along side abby in the back yard.... It is so great!
So do I regret it..... Not at all.... Is this so hard for me.... you have no idea!

On November fifth we....
woke up to snow!
It caused some of us to stay under the covers and sleep in.....
it may have made some late for work.....
Some left town first thing (HEATHER!)
and some of us threw on our flip flops (AJ! GIVE HIM A BREAK HE HAS NEVER SEEN REAL SNOW! ) or our multi-colored tights (saved just for this occasion of course!) and brown boots and had a snow ball fight!

A very berry birthday!
This year we did a strawberry shortcake birthday party for Abby... It was so much a fun and turned out absolutely adorable. I loved the way the cake turned out ( I of course didn't do it myself) and I love the tissue balls hanging from the ceiling. You can't tell from the picture but we had the fan turned on so they were spinning.... so fun! We had strawberry shortcake, all sorts of candy, and strawberry crepes with the yummiest custard. I also had a bakery called dippidee make strawberry shaped cookies... they were absolutely divine ! We had so many sweet things we seriously were sick... but is was wonderful!
Abby got the most beautiful dollhouse for her birthday.. complete with all the accessories, furniture and the people. It is so beautiful and she loves to play with it! Thanks to all our family who came and also gave abby such fun gifts ( we might as well start calling her Aurora!) I love my little girl and still can't believe she is already three!

Halloween
I know this is out of order but I simply could not resist posting a TON of pictures of my beautiful butterfly. Seriously... something just isn't right about being this gorgeous! I just love her so much! We had a fun.. slightly stressful halloween. I just had a lot to do, you would think that I am used to that by know but I am not. But I did make my traditional Dinner in a pumpkin and it was so yummy.. and of course Abby looked wonderful so everything was great! I just love holidays!
Goal over the next few days: Get caught up on blogging! Posts to come: Abby's amazing party, the pumpkin patch and our fun California trip and our new puppy!
