Ending August '06

August has went by so fast! We have been helping our friends down the road get ready for an out door reception. Craig helped them get their deck finished and I helped with their yard and in the kitchen that night. It turned out really well. The day before the reception there was an incredible storm that went thru which ripped my garden to pieces and shredde my trees leaves. They lost a few flowers but all in all they were spared.
LaraLee left for college and we are entertaining our selves and getting use to being "empty nesters" again. Grandma Worwood came and stayed overnight and we had a great visit with her and played scrabble into the wee hours of the night.
Also, another neighbor up the street died of West Nile Virus yesterday but he has been working up by Soldier Summit so WEAR YOUR MESQUITO REPELLANT!

Here are pictures of the hail storm on the hot tub and the road and the flood going down the fron of our house.

LaraLee leaving for school at Snow College in Ephraim.
"Bye Lara!"

Daniels' Girls Gone Wild! (minus one)

Tuesday we took some time to have a girls day and went to temple square and watched the Joseph Smith movie. It was very good. I would go watch it again in a heart beat. And of course, we had to see some water falls at the Conference Center, go eat at the Olive Garden...yummmy! Do a little shopping at Cottonwood Mall and just spend some time together before the good old school sessions start up again. It was a great day.

Dog Daze of summer 06

This young man is Dakota and he is our cute neighbor. He is getting baptised in two weeks and we are excited for him. The missionaries and Marilyn have been giving him the discussions and he has learned so much.

We, at the Daniels' household have a
pretty normal week. (Whatever that means) Just doing the everyday thing and Craig even got a game of golf in. The weather has been cooler so we have gotten some needed yard work in. Craig worked on our fence a lttle bit in spite of the wasps zapping around at him. I was his body gaurd with wasp spray while he hammered. And we finally have a zuccinni!!!

We did get a visit from Clay and Taylin and their parents. What a great SURPRISE! We really enjoyed their visit.

Here is a picture of our flowers on the front porch. They are doing pretty well.
