Fargo Forum
Weather patterns have recently caused much confusion to the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead region. Due to El Nina and global warming according to national scientists, warm weather has permiatted the area causing unnatural high tematures of 25-30 degrees and once as high as 45 this December. Snow falls and melts to soon for anyone to enjoy. Citizens are becoming upset and children are having a difficult time keeping their focus while in school. City official have gathered together to try to arrange for colder tempatures, but have failed to come up with a plan.
The second phenominon that has affected a broader 70 mile radius of Fargo, has been the earthquakes that get a Richter scale reading of 2.0. These earthquakes that have been going off every day starting around 10;30 and last about 10 minutes and then occur about another 30 minutes later, have now ceased. Confusion is high, but do not despair: researchers have found the cause. A local hotel, the Econo Lodge, located on 13th Ave and 34th St S is where they have radiated from. Local authorities have questioned all personel about these earthquakes. They all claimed to not have the faintest idea of what was happening. After detailed explaination of these earthquakes, one recptionist stated that their washer for laundry made "armaggedon like noises and shaked as if it were trying to emplode upon itself." Investigations and test have proved the washer to be the source of such tribulation. It has since been fixed.
