Real quick I have to call your attention again to the slightly disturbing image of floating babies directly to your left.

First I'd like to point out that I am 26 weeks now (well, tomorrow I am) which actually means for me, I only have 10 WEEKS LEFT! The one, count it ONE, benefit to a twin pregnancy means I don't actually have to go the full 40 weeks of pregnancy; 36 weeks is considered term for multiples so long as everything progresses normal and healthy. So my doc said I can give the word once I hit 36 and if all looks good, we'll get these babies out of me! (Can't imagine I'll want them to camp out any longer - trust me on that one)

Which brings me to the next thing I'd like to make everyone aware of... That is the fact that those previously mentioned floating babies ARE LYING. See how they bounce around all free and roomy in that spacious little bubble circle that is supposed to represent my uterus? See how they actually look weightless, like little astronaut babies growing in outer space as opposed to inside a human? Yeah... I'm gonna go ahead and guess this little ticker was made by a MAN.

Whenever I log onto our account to do a little blog surfing I'm met with that deceptive little image that makes it look like me and babies are just peacefully growing along in harmony, they have plenty of room to bop about leisurely inside me while I go on with my day uninterrupted. Meanwhile over here in REALITY, I feel like my ribs are being pulled apart by the jaws of life and honestly just might crack open through my skin. I'm getting kicked constantly from all angles (why don't these widget babies ever MOVE?!) and my lungs have been crammed up into my throat causing me to constantly gasp, sigh, huff and pant...which consequently causes my husband to think I'm mad and trying to communicate it through my oh so crafty, passive aggressiveness. (Which I'm NEVER actually guilty of, mind you).

It's really fun :)

So anyway, I just figured for the sake of all pregnant women out there; I'd expose this little ticker for the liar it is and give everyone a pleasant glimpse into the realities of pregnancy. Aren't you glad? :) In all honesty though, I should clarify that above I said the ONE benefit of twin pregnancy was getting to deliver early. Let me make sure you heard the pregnancy part of that statement...I am completely thrilled to be HAVING these two boys, I can't wait to meet them and I'm sure I can't even imagine all the fun and experiences having twins will bring to our family...I just kinda wish they could grow in test tubes or something, ya know?
