I admit that I was a major slacker when it came time to plan the twins birthday party this year.  I think I was still tired from all of the holiday festivities.  I was not organized, and I procrastinated planning anything for their party.  I finally decided to have everyone meet at Trafalga and we could play there and let the girls open their gifts.  For some reason it happened to be SUPER busy that day, there was hardly even room for everyone to have a seat. 

We did  manage to open presents, sing happy birthday (twice,) eat ice cream cone cupcakes, and play a few games.  Next year I promise to be way better and plan a super fun party for my sweet girls!

I can't believe my sweet little babies turned TWO!!!  Since their birthday in so close to Christmas we decided to wait a couple weeks to have their birthday party, but we still wanted to take them somewhere fun on their actual birthday.  It was unseasonably warm this winter, so wearing only jackets, we took the family up to the zoo in the middle of winter.  We rode the carousel and saw all of the animals, the lemurs were especially entertaining that day.  I always laugh when we stop and play at the little playground they have there, because I swear it is my kids favorite part of the whole zoo.  We stayed until it closed and had an awesome day.  Here are a few pictures of the Birthday Girls!

Christmas night we went to my mom's house to open more presents.  The kids were super spoiled this year and got so many nice things from everyone.

Santa Came!

The kids were soooo excited for Santa to come this year.  My mom came out to sleep at our house so she could watch the kids on Christmas morning.  We got the kids dressed in the Christmas jammies, read Christmas stories, ate cookies, watched a movie, and left some treats for Santa and his Reindeer.

Ashlyn had her winter dance recital in the middle of December.  She was incredibly cute and did an amazing job in her performance.  I am so proud to watch her up on the stage!
