Dear Diary
As the begining of the new year unfolds ,
I notice it hasnt been the kindest one yet.
started off with a major budget change ,
a new car ( good yet bad for the pocket ) ,
a friend's child in the ICU ,
a huge amount of money is kept under hold for the bakery's licensing routine ,
a family member , feeling sad and under some pressure ,
hey 2013 , things can get a little better.
I , however , am a thankful humble being ,
for the children that light up my day
for the lover that makes all things sound okay,
for all the sweetness sugary tastes I bite into in the bakery ,
for my Mama and dad , all well and healthy.
What else do we humans need ?
money comes and goes
happiness is the real currency,
let me remind myself when i feel down and low
that these things come , and go .
what stays is our true nature , all humble
and low
to thank God for all He'd given us ,
health , wealth and joy .
