Hi Y'a'll! Sorry, but I'm beginning to abandon the blog thing. To be honest, I'm not too in to it and I've been so busy with Maggie Moo. Some updates since last posting: Maggie celebrated her first birthday, at 12 months she has mastered the art of crawling (no walking in sight!), she is obsessed with the phone (she holds it to her hear and says "hi"), we love tocrawl stairs, she eats more than a horse (but still manages to stay small), she has just started giving open mouth kisses, she says mama/dada, she loves to play with other kids (most of her friends are two, and she just crawls around following everything they do!), she has traveled to Georgia and Washington, she loves her cousins (all 14 of them; on my side of the family she is the baby and on Ty's side of the family she is one of the older ones...it's so fun to see her respond as the "baby" and the "big girl"), she loves the camera (as you can see), Maggie has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on bottom), favorite toys are little people, dora car, and walker. Thanks to all of our family and friends who have showed so much love and support to our family! This year with Maggie has been the best yet! We look forward to all her new little discoveries, and will update you all (but not frequently...sorry!) As far as my story, I love being a stay at home mom, and I find tons of fulfillment in caring for Maggie and taking care of our house (cooking is an area where I need some improvements). I stay busy playing with my girlfriends and thier kids! It's the life!

The Shuffle

So, Lindsay isn't feeling very good and either is Maggie....so I figured while I am running around taking care of the both of them I would post a video of Maggie doing her shuffle. She doesn't quite crawl...but she does a mean shuffle! Linz will update you guys when she feels better!

First Day at the Beach!

So it was Maggie's first day at the beach. She absolutely loved it. She was fascinated by the water that would splash into her. Then she noticed the sand. Luckily she didn't try to eat any of it. She just picked it up and squeezed it and laughed. It was so sweet. She also got her first sunburn :( I thought I had lathered her up enough...but with all of the playing in the water must have washed off just enough to get her. But I guess this is what we can expect from a red head!

Sugar and Spice...

I'm calling this picture "sugar and spice" because Maggie woke up "spicey" today, but in this picture she looks like a little sweetie! Her teeth are bothering her so much. I suspect she will have some teeth soon! Her teething explains the booger sucker in her hand. I was cleaning out her nose, and she wanted to put the thing in her mouth! Kind of yucky, but whatever keeps her happy is fine with me! Her outfit is so colorful today, she looks like a rainbow.

Fun In The Tulips...

Hi Family and Friends! I know it's been forever since I updated our blog, and I am by no means going to attempt to "make up" for missed posts! Sorry, but I am going to try and be more consistent! Today, Maggie and I went to the Boise Temple to take pictures in the tulips with "Aunt" Carmen and her B.F.F. Vera Mae! They are the cutest little girlies! They were both so intrigued by the flowers that it was hard at times to get them to look at the camera. Well, I hope you enjoy our "professional" pictures that we've attempted! I think Carmen and I did a pretty darn good job! From the pictures you can see Tyler surprised us and stopped by! So, we got a picture of our little family. We send our love and hope all is well!

More Fun in the Tulips...

Please notice Maggie's head compared to Vera's! My little angel has a ROUND HEAD! I'm sorry, but I have to mention one more time just how cute these two are!! Another cute thing about Maggie and Vera Mae are the differences in their personalities (which is apparent in these pictures). Vera Mae is very tender, sweet, quiet, and reserved. While Maggie is outgoing, and constantly laughing and smiling. It's so fun to see their interactions together....these differences in personalities are the exact same for Carmen and I, but we're still great friends!
