I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for fun new spreads for my oracle cards or tarot cards. I like themed spreads, especially ones with an acronym or cool meaning.

And as an oracle card deck creator, I crafted some spreads for use with my deck or any other you may have. So if you’re looking for a little clarity or direction, try these out with any deck you have. One of my favorite creations is a deck of personal guidance cards that can help you find your way in a confusing world. The images are all of winged beings–some from this world and some from other realms. The messages are simple for anyone to interpret, and they are deeper than you might first think.

Now, on to the spreads:

Release and Increase Spread

The Release and Increase Spread is a 2-card layout that signifies exactly what you think it does. What do you need to RELEASE regarding your topic, and what do you need to INCREASE?

Card 1: Release

What do you need to let go of in order to have a positive outcome around your topic? You want to release whatever is holding you back, and this card will show you what that is. If it seems to be a positive card, consider the release like a reverse reading.

In the video example, the card Longevity came up. This card is about sustainab le actions for the long-term. So if this card comes up as your release card, you would want to release something you have been doing or expeiencing for a long time, because it’s holding you back. Perhaps well-engrained habits, toxic relationships, or soething similar.

Card 2: Increase

The Increase card in this spread signifies what you want to boost. If you’ve ever read The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles, you will recognize this word. You’ll find out what you need to nurture and grow regarding your concern in order to have the best possible outcome.

The Theme is related to your life. The Energy is what surrounds you regarding your issue or topic, and the Action is what action can you take for a positive outcome.
