Easter!

Easter Morning and Lincoln checking out his loot!
He got a church outfit, and a summer outfit, and his favorite BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! He loves his Buzz!

We also did an Easter Egg hunt with Jelly Beans. He loved it and made us do it for days after! I had to hide things and he'd go find them.

Jordan turns 30!!

So I was trying get pictures of my brothers visit when he and his family were here from Virgina but I don't have them yet, so I moved on to Jordan's Birthday! He is old! Everyone kept saying he was the "Dirty Thirty" So I figured that means older than dirt, right? So I made him his favorite cookies, no-bakes, which look like dirt clods and Lincoln got him some balloons. Later in the week we went up to Salt Lake and went to dinner with our friends Bryan and Jesenia. Bryan and Jordan are best friends and have birthday close together. I think every year since I've known Jordan and them we've always celebrated their birthdays together. They both love Tucanos so we went there. Jordan is also getting a PS3 for his birthday, I caved.

January 2010

This was probably the craziest month ever! We moved New Years Eve to Cedar City UT so Jordan could finish school. He's getting his Masters in Accounting and I get to stay home with Lincoln and be mommy! We live in my parents second home they bought in Enoch. It's a nice home but needed a little tender loving care . Like Painting! I spent a month picking paint and the painting about 2000 sqft. This is the Kitchen. More of the house to come. You can also visit my design blog at www.chicityouself.com

We also had a special guest stay with us for a few days. Lincoln's best friend and cousin Carter! His parents went on a cruise and while we were surrounded by boxes, they kept each other entertained which was nice when I was trying to unpack.

So sleepy after putting up with all of mom's projects.

December 09

Here is the month of December and all the fun we had. It is, after all, the most wonderful time of the year!
This is my new niece, she's adorable! Her name Azaria and I miss her! I got to see her when she was born and she looks just like her momma, she's such a cutie.

CHRISTMAS! We were all together as a family and it was great. Lincoln got a basketball hoop from Santa.

Enjoying our day as a family.
Lincoln and his cousin Carter having fun with blocks!
We also got to go to Vernal UT to see Grandma Neen and we enjoyed an early Christmas. We always get spoiled.
Lincoln loves, loves, loves Curious George and grandma gave him a cute little track suit for him.
He also loves music and make music.

Our Weekend of Fun

So we had our last days of being working stiffs this week and it feels great to be free from "The Man!" I've had to work Saturdays at all the jobs I've had since I joined the work force ...10...12...some years ago, and so it was nice to not have to work and to just hang out with the fam and do family things. We did our annual ginger bread houses at Grandmas! A Christmas traditions since I young and now we're doing it with our kids! To see the instructions on how to make such an easy and glorious house, check out my design blog! http://chicityourself.blogspot.com/

An attractive picture of L saying cheese with his candy in his mouth. Nice.

The nephew showing off our ginger bread village.

Later, we went outside to play in the snow. L hated getting his winter clothes on but he later learned it was totally worth it. He loved the snow!

"I can't put my arms down!"

Once there was a snowman...

Tall,

Tall...

TALL!! But no it hasn't melted yet, it's too cold out!

Design Blog

I'm doing "12 Days of Chic'ness" on my other blog. http://chicityourself.blogspot.com. Check it out! I just posted a project I did, it's easy and makes a great gift!

The First week of Christmas

We've been having a lot of fun so far this Christmas season! Last week we went a ward "Christmas Breakfast with Santa." The events were as follows, Lincoln went from excited, to confused, to scared. But that's what I expected and it was good entertainment. Thanks son, you always make me laugh!
We also had the opportunity to go to the 1st Presidencies Christmas Devotional at the Conference Center on Sunday. It was beautiful. I felt privileged to be able to hear the Tabernacle Choir sing the Handel's "Messiah" live. They also sang one of my all time favorite Christmas songs "Oh Holy Night" But mostly listening to the speakers talk about the first Christmas touched me and always starts off the Holiday season right.

I love how Santa is like "We're best friends" and Lincoln is like "Get away from me!"
