It's beginning to look a lot like... SPRING!

Wrapping it up...

February has been quite the month... we spent a lot of it at home. Belle has found herself being sick for a lot of it and still struggling a bit. She has gotten blood work and x rays done hoping that the doctors can finally figure out why she can't quite stay healthy. We will hopefully find out at her doctor's appointment Friday. So while we play the waiting game for her results we have tried to enjoy inside. Belle has put on a lot of shows for me! Singing and Ballet are her main hits! We pulled Paige her doll out... that she got for her second Christmas and she has not gone anywhere without her. Cash and Belle fight over her constantly. So I guess one of them is always holding her. Belle pretends that it is her baby that came out of her tummy and she rocks her, sleeps with her, changes her, and acts just like her real mother! I have gotten a lot of organizing done. I was looking through some old things from high school and I found a drawing in my old scriptures I must have drawn a long time ago because, I have not seen those scriptures in a very long time! The drawing is of me and my niece Maya! Hahah maybe Maya drew I don't know! But I was laughing how hilarious it was! We of course made forts... The kids always are in a different world when we build those! And of course being home means dates are at home... We tried to make this months dates extra special!! I am really excited for March to start... February has lingered a little long... I have a feeling this month will be a lot healthier and warmer!! I am so excited for spring to come! My mother's bday, Easter (coming up)... and my last trimester to go! Oh update on the baby... She is doing awesome and kicking like crazy she is by far my most active little one!!

Where's Belle?!

Every time i go get Belle from her nap I seem to find her in every spot but her bed! She has been in the mode of playing and playing till she literally can't anymore and these are the results! One day i was looking all over for her and I thought she must have went downstairs without me knowing... finally I knelt down to look under the bed and hahah there she was with her t shirt she was wearing around her legs and a new shirt on top... and she seems to never sleep with any pants on anymore!! Haha oh I love her!

What a wonderful day!

Yesterday was so beautiful outside... The sun was out and it had a little breeze but not much so we decided to take Cash's birthday balloons and play with them in a field.... so hopefully they would pop and I could get rid of them! So we wanted to go somewhere we haven't gone yet so we started driving and out of no where was this little blue bus stop! I fell in love so I pulled over to the side of the road- Monkey hates when I do that because I go on people's property and he gets so nervous that I am going to get arrested or chased down by some crazy farmer! That probably is bad but I was certain this belonged to no one! We had so much fun... the kids thought it was incredible. We jumped back in the car and found...

A huge field... One side was all grass and the other was another field that led into a lake! When it isn't so muddy we will have to go on the other side! We got the balloons out and the kids went crazy! Belle was holding the balloons and as she was running the balloons began to pop... she started sobbing because she didn't like the popping sounds... and she cried and still continued running! I didn't mean to laugh but I have never seen something like that. I could not stop laughing. I held her after haha don't worry!

I couldn't decide which picture so I put both.

All these pictures made me remember how fun childhood was! FREEDOM, HAPPINESS, NO CARES! I love seeing their smiles. Ohhh and we got to see some wild life! Bambi... Cash wanted to hold the deer so bad! there was a baby somewhere and Cash kept running towards the deer like he was going to jump on them and go for a ride! It was giving me a ulcer!

Today was pure lovely! And to top it off... there was a rainbow!

Belle Natalie

This picture makes me so happy, she was so little! Not anymore... Belle is quite the lady now! I have decided not to worry about night potty training her till the baby comes because I will be up in the night then anyways... But for the last couple naps Belle has slept without a diaper and last night she slept all night with no diaper... I swear when this girl wants to do something - she will do it when she wants! So goodbye diapers FOREVER for Belle!!! Way to go little lady! We are so proud of you! And we are proud of Cash too... hhaha he keeps asking me if he can go on the big potty, he loves it and feels so proud. So I have a feeling he will be potty trained way sooner than I ever thought!

Lieutenant Oliver Mullins

This week Monkey was sworn into the Air Force. He was extremely excited... The Air force will help us so much financially, he will have a job straight out of school, and we will have some awesome income and crazy benefits! The night before I have to say I was feeling a bit uneasy... 3 years we serve after school. And 5 years of inactive duty after that. I was feeling a bit like what if something extremely crazy does happen and Monkey will have to leave... tons of things filled my mind and I was getting very nervous about him doing this. The day of we met Srgt. Akridge and his buddy who got to swear him in. Watching him raise his hand and start to take his oath I felt my heart was going to POP out of my chest. As I heard the words my fears turned into pride. I felt so proud of the words he was saying and felt at peace with our decision! I am so proud of Monkey... I guess my Lieutenant... for working so hard for this scholarship and for putting so much faith into our future and knowing there is no what if's... we just do! So CONGRATS Monkey! We couldn't be so proud!

So this last Sunday I was looking at my hair.... and boy was it ever long, it was almost touching the very bottom of my back! And it was so unhealthy looking I decided I can't stand it- so after church I put my hair in a pony tail and hacked it off! hahah I should have been patient and waited for Monkey because it was completely crooked after I did it from the side... duh I should have thought of that! haha so I taught Monkey how to cut my hair and he did awesome! I tried putting layers in it haha oh dear and I cut some bangs! haha. My hair still looks long but I ended up cutting... after the pony tail chop and crooked fix... 10inches to maybe even a foot! It is so much nicer to take care of!!! I will put a picture of the finished product later. I have to say I love change!

Valentines Day!

Yay Valentines Day! I have to say we started out rough with some attitudes... Cash! But ended very well! What is better to say I love you with waffles and A BUNCH of fresh strawberries! Cash ate his whole plate and wanted a whole other one... Then we made sugar cookies together and Cash ate half the dough... lets just say next time I will be cutting the cookies out the night before! the rest of the morning was playing and painting nails... Monkey got home after naps and the kids got to deliver Valentines... Belle called themselves the love fairies. I love watching them... Belle is so excited and Cash bawls giving the cookies away because he wants to eat them! That night Cupid came ... Which Belle says, "Cupid is love Mom, but you can pretend to be a fairy!" I told her she was right on Mom pretends to be Cupid to make the day more special and because I love you! After Bedtime Monkey and I had a curry candle light dinner and it was lovely listening to our songs, and imaging we were at a fancy restaurant- we finally got some awesome champaigne glasses which cost me $1.29 at the thrift store! BINGO! Happy Valentines!

Valentines

Valentines is a HUGE deal in my house! Monkey and I both love it!! Don't get me wrong we love each other everyday of our lives but February 14th is a day where we save up to shower each other with pure cheesy love! We order take out... which doesn't happen much! We spend the night as romantic as we can... which means food, fun, and a film! Hhaha the kids are sleeping so no going out! We love it though! Our last couple Valentines we have tried to get creative! Last year Monkey created a Ball ... A dance where got all dressed up like I have always wanted to and we pretended we were some where fancy at an elegant ball! Ridiculous but pure wonderful!! I love all our dates... but tonight we get to save a little mula and do something more special! I seriously have married so high above me! Monkey is my best friend- I have so much fun with him. We laugh and talk constantly. Sometimes when he is studying I catch myself talking way too much... He just smiles... puts his papers down and just talks back!! until finally I realize what I am doing and leave... and then wish I was with him. Monkey is my absolute everything... friend, counselor, therapist, confidant, care taker, someone I admire, look up to, the man of my dreams! I am so grateful I said yes! I am so grateful we will be together for ETERNITY!! That is a longgggg time- Good thing I like em! I have been thinking a lot about when we were first married... hahah what a joke! I think we hated each other more than we liked each other! I remember even thinking of ways I could find to get out of being married! Haa we laugh about that and those days now! We are in our 5th year or marriage and each year seems so much better. We used to fight constantly about ridiculous things and stay mad forever... We used to yell and storm out of the room and threaten to have the other sleep on the couch! Hilarious now...How dumb could we be! Each year we have been together I find we don't really do that anymore. We aren't perfect but we are so much better.. instead of a fight four times a day it rarely ever happens! Monkey you seriously have taught me so much without even knowing it! I find the longer I am with you the more I want to make you happy! Like I love to buy things... you know that!! but knowing how much it bothers you to spend money I find my self putting EVERYTHING back haha! I have realized how important being their for each other really is. I have realized that even though we don't have a perfect marriage we can grow and become better together! The word together use to smoother me haha remember! I use to want everything my way... I made the decisions, I called the shots, and I always finished the fight! Now as cheesy as this is it excites me to know I have someone to share everything with. We don't always agree but in the end everything is so much better than if I had it my way, because it's become our way!. I am excited for each year I have with you Monkey! I can't even imagine how each year could get better than now! Happy Valentines!

20 Week Ultrasound!

Meet our boy Hawk!! This is my 11 week ultrasound where the ultrasound technician, Monkey, and myself knew our new baby was going to be a boy!!! So for the past 2 1/2 months we have been calling our new little guy Hawk!! I could not believe how early we could tell so waiting for my 20 week ultrasound was nothing!!

So yesterday we went for my 20 week ultrasound! Hawk looks so good! I am so grateful this pregnancy has been everything but stressful unlike the last two times... Anyways the tech is calling him and boy we are telling Belle and Cash to look at Hawk and all of a sudden the tech goes, "UMMM he's a she!" I looked at her like she was crazy! I don't know how we knew it was a boy but.... WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!! hahah my eyeballs almost fell out of my head. I looked at Belle and said," holy cow you are having a sister!" She didn't get it! She still thinks we are having a boy named Hawk! The whole time I wanted the tech to check again! IT'S A GIRL! 100%!!! We are so excited! I can't believe I was convinced it was a boy!

So here she is! The tech said she has super long arms and legs! And she said she had quite a big foot measuring at 3.5cm! What sweet little lady... not Hawk! She kept waving her hand and sticking her tongue out! Her profile is so beautiful! But I am her mother so I will always say that! I have 20 weeks left and if it goes by as fast as these last 20 weeks I will have her in no time! I am starting to get things ready... kind of! Belle and Cash will have to learn to share a room. Belle will be hopefully night potty trained! I have to get bows started, get a dresser, get a glider or couch, wash all Belle's baby clothes, painting, etc!!!! How exciting! There is no better feeling then being a new Mom! So much love for a tiny person you don't even know yet! Little lady probably Paige we are so excited for your arrival!

Bean Bags

Meet the new favorites! Grandma and Grandpa Mullins made these awesome bean bags for the kids! Now I can't get my kids out of them! They read in them, play with toys in them, watch shows with a drink and their blankets in them, want to eat dinner in them....etc. I think they are darling! I have come to love them as well. Every night when the kids fall asleep I slip on the couch and stick my massive swelled legs on one of these super soft bags and relax.... I am in paradise!! What a special gift! Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa! I think these will be around for a very LONG time!

Cash's 2nd Birthday!

I can't even believe my little man is 2 years old! I have never seen a 2 year old quite so excited about his birthday! He woke up and the first thing he said was "cake... presents first!" Belle wasn't sure at first if she liked Cash having a birthday and not her! She cried here and there.... but then she moved on and she had to be by Cash's side the entire day!

We started Cash's birthday off with a surprise! Cash loves balloons! So I tried to make a balloon banner hahah it turned out ok... the best was he loved it, so it made all the blowing with it!! I put balloons all over the floor and the kids went nuts. They were so happy, which me really happy. We sat down for breakfast, to his favorite cereal Marshmallow Magic... better than lucky charms! Cash was so excited.... the boy left the cereal and ate like 100 marshmallows! I don't blame him the mallows are good! Then we played games and he wanted to watch Calliou- don't ask me why he likes that show so much. Then we packed up a picnic and went and picked up Monkey. We went to the library while we waited for him. Then in the drizzle rain we headed to a nature reserve lake...

Even though it was wet this was by far my favorite picnic we have ever had. We popped our hood up and pushed down our seats and pulled right up to the lake cause no one else was there! We threw crumbs to the birds and then the HUGE fish popped out! We were all so entertained! It was so gorgeous... and so peaceful!

That night Cash got to pick dinner and hahah he wanted a hot dog from Sonic! So we went! We all had good food and some tasty slushes... Belle had grape, Monkey had sour apple, Cash had blue coconut, and I had an orange dream slush!

What Cash was most excited for was his presents and cake... which we had to be done in that order. He opened all his presents which he loved but since he is so into basketball... his hoop was IT! He found true love at first sight! He played the rest of the night with that thing. Getting a little mad at Dad for whacking the ball out of his hands before he could make a basket and yelling, "NOT IN MY HOUSE!!" Belle thought it was funny and kept doing that with Dad... Cash just told him to be nice... and pushed him out of the way! I just laughed! Cash's cake hahah oh dear was a little like a easter egg instead of a basketball... but Cash did not seem to care! We had such a great day. I am dying that my youngest is 2! Time seriously goes so fast, I want to hold on to it so bad. Cash I don't know what I would do without you. You bring so much happiness and love into our family. I love watching you grow but please stay my little guy forever! I love you! Happy Birthday!

My 25th Birthday!

My birthday... Let's just say I love birthdays! I love every holiday, but birthdays are the best! This year I felt pretty special! I was woke up by Belle running in with hot pink roses in her hand and Cash with a Maple doughnut in his! They were so excited! We all snuggled on my bed and ate doughnuts and sipped chocolate milk! Pretty good so far. Chloris my incredibly thoughtful and kind mother n law came and stayed the night with the kids so Monkey and I could have a little get away....

We went to Portland and had a ball! This town kind of freaks me out but totally fascinates me at the same time! There is so much culture in Portland. I love the buildings! So old and they look 1930's... I would say Portland is it's own kind of town... nothing like it. We ended up walking the streets through all the shops... We ate lunch at the fancy Italian restaurant. I felt like I should have been wearing formal clothes, couple people were! Then we went to the world's biggest book store. It is an entire block long and three stories high. I didn't last long... so many people, little air, smelt weird, and I am pregnant!! Enough said! So I was a bit tired so we went into the bed shop and pretended to buy a bed... so I could rest! It was really fun acting like we were going to drop 4000$ on a bed... pretty rude too! Then we went to a Diners, Drive ins, and Dives (food network) little spot Blue Plate! We got their homemade sodas! I got this paradise dream in a cup and monkey got some crazy hibiscus drink! Lovely! We went and stopped by the river and enjoyed people watching and talking! Then we headed off to...

The BLAZER VS. NUGGETS game! I was the only Nuggets fan I felt in the whole stadium! I didn't care too much because I yelled my head off cheering until I realized Monkey was getting uncomfortable and the score was getting embarrassing! The Nuggets stunk the court up! I could even smell their stank from WAY up where we were sitting! NOSE BLEEDS BABY! haha Nose bleeds or not Basketball games rock! I don't think Monkey will want to go with me again unless we are going for the same team as the crowd! After the game we headed to our 30$ surprise hotel... Surprise!!! was not a joke... The guy working their seemed like he hunted crocodiles and he has cats... I didn't really want to look further! hahah at least the room was clean and we enjoyed subway and ice cream while watching food networks Chopped! I had a MARVELOUS birthday! Chloris thank you so much for taking so much time to come and watch them! Thank You! Thank You! And thank you Monkey for making me feel so special! Love you
