School, blah!

So my summer is almost officially over. : ( I start school tomorrow and have some mixed feelings about it. I'm kinda excited to get back into the groove of things. I get to learn about some pretty cool things this semester, like maternity and pediatrics, and I get to get into the nitty gritty of all of the different diseases and conditions that are out there. So I was looking at one of my books and Mike happened to glance at the wrong time. I was looking at actual pictures of the process of giving birth. Well let's just say that scared the crap out of Mike!! Heck I'll be lucky if he'll be able to hold my hand the whole time without passing out!! What a wimp! : ) Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny! Hope everyone is doing well for everybody! Ta Ta!

Happy Pioneer Day!!

So Pioneer day was really fun. Mike and I went up to Inspiration Point up Willard Canyon. (At least I think that's what canyon it was. : )) on the four wheeler. I lied when I said the views from the top of Mt. Logan were the best! It was absolutely amazing how much we could see. We could see Brigham City, Logan, Willard, Ogden, and Mantua all at the same time! It was so green still, even had a few places with snow run off. There were millions of wild flowers (and flies unfortunately) Plus the ride itself was a lot of fun with lots of twists and turns. Kinda felt like a roller coaster in some spots. We also went over to my mom and dads for some food, fireworks, and fun! Hope everybody had a wonderful, safe Pioneer Day!

Hello from the Seamons!

Hello Everyone!
Ok so I have some friends and family who blog and I thought it kinda looked fun, so here we go! I'm new to this so hopefully it turns out ok. Hopefully it's not too boring for all you bloggers!
I thought I would start off with Mike and I's crazy month of summer. I had exactly a month off of nursing school, so we decided to take full advantage of it. Our summer started off with a fun trip to California with Mikes dad Al, his brothers James and Jake,
and James' wife Morgan, and Jakes girlfriend Erin. We went to stay with Mikes aunt and uncle who live in the Pasadena area (Thanks Lynn and Vicki!) They were a great host and hostess! We went Sea World (AWESOME!), Six Flags, and my favorite part, the beach! This was my first time playing in the ocean waves.
We've also had a lot of fun with our 4 wheeler. We've went on several trips up the canyon. We enjoy the beautiful scenery. Especially to the top of Mt. Logan. What a view! I have a good time driving the wheeler, and scaring the pants off of Mike while I do it!! :)
We also took a fun camping trip with my family. We had a blast camping at the Sunrise campground. Of course there was good food (Thanks Mom!) and good fun! While we were there we spent a day at bear lake where we had fun floating in the refreshing water. Holly and her cute kids joined us later. We went back and had a fun night at the campground. I think the kids had the most fun giving Mike a well deserved hard time. : ) Especially little Porter and Emilie!
Then of course there are the Bear Lake trips with the Seamons. Those are always fun. It was fun to watch Nate and Tyler our nephews have fun just playing in the sand.
So as you can see it's been a crazy month! It's been a blast and I'm kind of sad to see it all
end. I start back into the nursing school grind next week, so that means I can kiss my free time goodbye!! ; )
