So I realize that my blogging has been nothing more than pathetic for the past 18 months. I could give many excuses, computer issues, internet issues, busy lifestyle, and social butterfly lifestyle…but the truth is that after a while it just becomes overwhelming to try and catch up. I am going to try and get better.


There is a lot that has occurred since the last blog, but I am only going to update you on one thing, since it’s kind of a big change….


I am a married woman!

Yes, I know, miracles do still occur. On October 15, 2011, I married a fabulous man. It was an amazing day, better than I ever imagined. To quote a super cheesy line from one of my favorite movies, “I am perfectly and incandescently happy.” At the ripe old age of 29, I finally found someone who is greater than great. And as cliché as it may sound, I can guarantee it was worth the wait.

I have included a little photographic evidence (these are actually bridals, I don’t have photos from the real day yet). I will do my best to add more photos once I have them!

Two of my favorite people recently got hitched. Previous to their nuptials, some of the girls got together to help Megan bid adieu her single life. We had a great time chatting, eating and dancing our hearts out with the lovely Megan Shirey. Pete is one LUCKY guy.
I am so happy for Megan and Pete. Thanks to both of you, you honestly give me hope that love can still exist and it IS possible to find someone great!

I have a serious love/hate relationship with running. However, I LOVE running the ragnar relays races. If you aren't sure what these races are, basically you have a team of 12 runners and you run for 30ish hours straight for a total of 200 miles. You run, and watch others run, without showering or sleeping for two days straight while cramped in these little vans full of 11 other stinky sweaty people. BUT it is SOOO FUN!! I am slightly obsessed.

The past few months my blogging has not been up to par! For those of you who occassionally stop by, I do apologize. It's been a crazy few months. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel for this madness! Hooray!

2010 has been treating me very well and I have to publicly say, I'm feeling so good! Happiness is abounding and I can truly say I don't have any complaints! There are some great changes coming up (no, i'm not getting married!) but great things! I'm feeling SO blessed and wanted to announce it to the world.

I wish I had pics from some of random fun events as of late, but I've been slacking on that as well! I think I need a new camera to motivate me. ;)

Lately, I have felt kind of broken. Its not always a bad thing, it helps me grow. Its just hard coming face to face with my fears and issues. :) However I am lucky, I am not alone. I know I have great friends and family around who also feel broken, it makes me feel better about it! So I dedicate this song from one of my ridiculous crushes to all of my fellow broken! ;)

As I mentioned, some of my favorite people met up in one of my favorite cities to ring in the new year! New Years Eve brought good friends, good food, interesting conversation, window shopping in Chinatown, lots of walking, secondhand smoke, indecision and lots of laughs!




New Years Day we set out to cover a lot of ground in our rented go-carts. It was the most fun I have had in such a long time! We were a tourist attraction! People were videoing and snapping photos of us all over town! We visited the Golden Gate Bridge, the "Full House" park, Lombard street and Golden Gate park. As usual, I made a fool of myself but enjoyed every moment of it!







The fun just started there! We had a weekend of fun activities and LOTS of laughs! If we can judge this year by how it started, its going to be AMAZING!! Hope that rings true!

First off, I will update this one day, I promise! So much has happened in the last few months and I have pics galore, but my schedule isn't allowing the update to happen in a timely fashion. Sorry! It is my resolution to be better about it! Stayed tuned for lots of updates! :)

In the meantime, I realized I only have a few hours to finish my new years resolution. Don't think I will be married or pregnant by midnight but I guess you never know. Maybe I will just roll it over to 2010? Thoughts?

Although the resolution hasn't been fulfilled, I am still going to party the night away with some of my dearest friends in a city I LOVE!!!! The place where I can ride the trolley cars, eat shrimp all day, smell sourdough from miles away and shop like a bandit(if I had the money to do so!), SAN FRANCISCO HERE I COME!

In December,the McMorbhoff girls met up in Vegas for a wonderful girls weekend. We laughed hysterically all weekend long. I would go into detail but it wouldn't make sense to anyone else. Let's just say there was a lot of facebook updates, giggling, retainers, playboy sheets and australian thunder! :) Words cannot express how much I love my cousins, they feel more like sisters and I can't wait until the next trip!
