2 Weeks Old Already!

Seriously, I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks. Caleb is getting so big, especially those chubby cheeks! We've been so blessed with amazing family and friends that have helped us during this time. Thank you to everyone who brought meals, gifts, and came to hold Caleb and drive me around during these past 2 weeks. It has been such a help. But I am so glad to be able to drive again starting today. Here's some pics to show how Caleb has grown!

It's A Boy!!!

Caleb Daniel Rose is here! He was born at 11:15pm Thursday April 3rd. It was one crazy day. I went into true labor late morning that Thursday and was at the hospital by 5:30 that evening. I had planned and hoped to have this baby naturally, but I ended up having an emergency C-section. The cord was wrapped around his neck and his heart rate dropped and wouldn't come back up to a safe level. I'm just so thankful that he's here and healthy!

At birth Caleb weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He's perfect and beautiful, and we're all doing really well - just recovering at home and enjoying the time together.

40 Weeks Pregnant

Marc and I went to dinner last night and took some final pictures of me pregnant. I can't believe the day is almost here. My due date is in 2 days (the 5th), and considering the fact that I'm up at 4 am timing contractions, the day really might already be here! That shocking day I found out I was pregnant seems like such a long time ago. Now I can't wait to be a mom and to find out if it's a boy or a girl. Hopefully we'll be posting pictures of Baby Rose soon!
