Jeff and Erin

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Jeff and Erin's wedding and lemme say it was one of my favorites. Just really cool people who are really in love, a tight family, an awesome location, and fun guests. This is why I love my job. Posted by Picasa

morning ramblings

You know that you like something enough when it actually does get you out of bed in the morning. For example, the past couple mornings that I've had off and while my friends are either still sleeping or working I've done nothing but photography. I turn on some music, edit the pictures from the day before, and then write blogs or upload the edited pictures. It's not a bad life.
Happy Birthday, yesterday, Todd. The big 29. I don't even know what to say about that number. At least you're not 30? =)
So much has happened even since Bonnaroo that it seems like a distant memory. It was probably one of the coolest experiences in my life though. Just the music, the friends, the atmosphere, the chicks, the everything. It was awesome.
I guess life is just really good right now. And that's the first time I can remember saying that and having proof to back it up. Life's ... perhaps, is getting back on track from the hell hole called last summer. Photography is great, my friends kick ass, being single has plenty of "pros", money's not an issue, California's coming up, my stomache gets fed regularly ... I can't complain about hardly anything these days. It's nice.
Just let me soak in this happiness for a while before it gets all messed up again.

(or can i control my perspective to where it will never get messed up again?)

Peace,
(listen to dave, it'll change your life.)(or at least put you in a better mood)

Mr. Noah Grey

I consider myself lucky as being one HUGE fan who actually got to meet the Noah Grey. Now this picture was taken on 10.17.2004, almost 2 years ago, but this guy is still kickin' butt at photography. Noah has been and probably always will be my biggest inpsiration for picking up my camera and capturing what he calls "the more hidden, non-obvious beauty" of the world.

Check out his most recent interview at Photographica, and then click over to his website. Now...don't get lost as it's easy to do and remember to come back here sometimes. =)

Peace,
