A very sad tale....

Sick. Sick. Sick.
I don't have mono.
I don't have strep so far.
The doctors are not sure what it is. However, they suspect that it could be a rare disease called MichellenaFlarknucleosishypnoticphobia. It is extremely serious and life altering. I might not even make it out without serious doses of the following treatments:
Laughter (Very hard to come by at my house)
Chinese Food- Preferably Royal Panda Cafe...... *cough cough* (Very good for the.... organ that causes this unfortunate illness.... the funny bone. (Yes. Recent studies do show that the funny bone is, in fact, an organ. Vital even.))
Lord of the Rings Extended versions and Old Pride and Prejudice (This does anyone good)
Lots and lots of reading (This one might be the hardest. I shall try my hardest to fulfill it!)
It isn't looking good, but I may just pull through. There are no known survivors.... Then again. This is the first case they have seen in... well forever.
Hannah, if I don't make it, you can have my clothes and my black heels that you always steal and horde in your swamp. You may also have my neat-freakishness. I won't be needing it where I am going and if you don't get it soon, you might follow after me simply by tripping over your junk.
Amelia, you can have my books (since you might not get dad's bahaha) and you can even have the very square hair folicles from my curly head because I know how you envy them.
I would like to thank my body for giving me the...... inspiration for this "oh-so-wonderful" post.
I would like to thank my amazing friends (Mainly Augie) that make me smile through this... trying.. time in my life.
I would like to thank Morgan whatever her name is for being difficult so that great happiness has occured in Michellena Flark's life of Alle tag. Jeden tag. (Freitag.) Fest.
I would love to thank the inventers of satire and sarcasm... But I don't really know who they are. Whoever it was they made this blog, my life, and so much more possible.
Now, I need to go take a long bubble bath according to a highly reliable source.
I love you all! Duh.
Much Love!!

Isn't it weird...

...the little things you remember always? My favorite, living, blood brother, Benjamin once taught me the "Art of making Ramen." You might be thinking 1) you don't really need to be taught how to make ramen. Americans know how from birth or 2) Making ramen is not an art. Well you are wrong on both accounts. For those of you who don't know my dear brother, I'll explain. Growing up eating dinner right next to Ben was so entertaining! Whether he was making sculptures with his mashed potatoes or running to the sink to spit out his drink from laughing so hard, he always kept us entertained. It's a good thing we don't have the rule "Don't play with your food" at our house because I don't know what Ben would have done!! ;) But anyways, Ramen. For some reason, when Ben makes Ramen, it just tastes 10 times better than when anyone else makes it! So one day he took pity on me and decided to teach me his secrets! (Which, of course, cannot be told) And he probably doesn't even remember doing this, but anytime I make Ramen, it reminds me of my favorite Ben. So thank you Benji! :)
....how icky things like migraines have both pros and cons? So I have never been drunk(nor do I plan to ever experience it) but some people at school would argue otherwise after seeing me at school today. My sincerest apoligies go out to anyone that I talked to last night on the phone (mainly Kailey and Sister Knudsen) I was hard to understand and a little distant. But hopefully you at least got a laugh. :) Willie Long (Math teacher) and I bonded over migraines today. He even told me I could leave if I wanted to (not that I have any work to do anyways even after missing a whole day). Mrs. Dorman thought I was just extremely bored with her lecture on classifying and identifying lakes. Ms. Jacobsen thought I was on drugs and Michael said he was glad to see me alive after missing 2 days of seminary. Bahaha Michael Barnum. See? Both good and not so good. :)
... how we associate certain words with colors? Random word test. See if we are close.
Charity - Red (Like a heart)
Smile - Yellow (Smiley face.... not teeth...)
Shoes - Red (... just cuz. haha)
Sleep - Blue (Because I like to think the inside of my eyelids are not black but dark blue)
Colorado - "Colorful" ("Welcome to Colorful Colorado!")
Utah - Blue (No clue)
Washington - Green (duh.)
Dream - Purple (Hmmm that's interesting)
Family - Green (Family Tree maybe? I don't know)

Well anyways. As always, a special thanks to all those who make me laugh, cry, and everything in between.
Much Love!!

Last First Week under the scope

So last week was my LAST FIRST WEEK OF HIGH SCHOOL! Talk about Bittersweet! Here's the deal:
High school drivers are no good. Nope.
I have only 5 class periods, so I get to leave around 12:30 which is fantastic in my oh-so-highly-thought-of-opinion.
Here is what my day looks like:
English with Jacobsen. She is a slightly hairbrained, self-proclaimed nutcase that smokes a lot and loves cows and Parker and Franktown history. Somedays you love her, somedays you don't and vice versa. About half of my seminary class is in this class. A record high of 7 mormons. It is a party.
Then AP german. Auf Deutsch.... Dieses Jahre ist nicht so spass wie Deutsch IV. Es ist veil Arbeit und Hausaufgaben. Das ist nich so froh, aber Liebe ich Frau Parsons. Sie ist die besten!
Then Aquatic Biology with Dorman. Melissa, Holly, Ben, and Amelia all had her for whatever subject so I guess she already 'knows' me. Aquatic biology sounds really interesting and fun right? You think, oh yay! Sharks and jelly fish.... Maybe it's like that in California, but in good-ole-Parker it's about Ponds........ Our upcoming and exciting project coming up is called, and I quote, "Pond Study." Riveting huh? We get to look at moss and bacteria. Wooooo. But Paul is in that class with me so we will make it AFAP (as fun as possible).
Then I have Data and Decisions with Willie Long... bahaha. (Say his name out loud, it's great.) Data and Decisions (DADs) is also commonly known as 'Stoner's math.' And let me just tell you how accurate that is. Haha.... So there was a HUGE party this weekend (party as in the kind you do NOT want to be at unless you're into the whole dying young from an illegal drug overdose thing) and it got called in so a lot of people are majorly busted and 1 girl even jumped off of a 30 foot balcony to get away from the cops (smart right?).... well the point is, I think me and maybe 4 other people in my class were the only ones from stoner math that weren't there..... So naturally, I 'love' that class....
Anyways, last I HAD psychology with Tabola who has been teaching at Pondo since it opened( And he doesn't even look like a dinosaur!!) .... but today they decided to take random people and ruin their schedules and I was one of those lucky people... So I no longer have psycology. I have U.S. history since 1945, an all juniors class with Olsen. I didn't go today so I don't know what that will be like, but at least I don't have Landon. :) Party.
So we go through the usual boring first day full of "course policy" sheets and fake 'I'm-so-excited-for-this-school-year' smiles from the teachers. I wonder, why do they waste the time saying how much they hate doing all of the boring stuff if they're just gonna do it anyways?? But in all fairness, Summer happens to fry everyone's brains. Teachers are no exception. What weirdys. (And I mean that in the best way possible...)
We went to Cherry Creek Res for Mutual and brother Weaver... is merciless!! But he could not tip Malena, Tenae and my tube! Woo! It was a fun activity. :)
Wednesday I started work at Ave Maria Catholic school at the after care. I like it, I get paid well, and I get to work with kids and Malena and her wonderful mother, so I like it. :)
The rest of the week was....... dull and full of work and schooly.
Friday after work me and Mel had this great non-party planned. It was spectacular. In case someone doesn't know, our word that describes our fabulous lives is Party. Not, PARTY! no. just party. We get it from Nick Swarnson/Swardson/ whatever his last name is. But anyways, we went to the cute little Italian bakery near all of the pristine victorian houses in little downtown Parker. (If you have never been, I highly recommend it, it is so good!) We paid all in change! And we went back for seconds because they were just soooo good! They're the kind of pastries that you bite into and you can tell that they were made fresh only a few hours ago. :) Mmm. Then we went to the pool but it was SUPER cold and the hot tub was broken (We didn't do it this time....) so we just made our own hot tub. Then we are old so I left at 10:30.
Saturday was the best of EFY. Great speakers. Lights:
"Guys, you want to marry a girl that awwws to pictures. If you see a girl that looks at a picture of a baby and says yuck a baby, that's a bad sign!
"That's correct!"
Pick up lines.
The dance was outside..... ouch! It was alright though. Then after an after-dance party I just had a great night. :)

A special thanks to:
Sister Knudsen-Duh you rock and I love you and all that you do for us! Thanks for the LOR. :)
Sister Williams- LOR. Thanks a ton!
Sister Billat- LOR also. You guys are the best. What would I do without you??
All of my friends- for their laughter, smiles, and everything in between. :)
My parents- I quite literally would not be here without you two love birds. Thanks for everything. :)
My sisters old and young- I learn a ton from you guys and I wouldn't give you up for anything. CTR and let's be together forever. :)

Kailey, good luck with tryouts! You can do it! (Even with a broken toe)

Sorry, that is LONG!
Much Love!!

Bed Stilts and fondu and dishes, Oh my!

So I was peacefully cleaning my room, minding my own business when the world decides to tip a little sideways! My mom walks in looking all innocent, (yeah right!!) and says hey, do you want these? Sounds harmless right? WRONG! She is holding dishes in her hand. Do you see the significance yet? Oh you will. She then says these will be perfect for COLLEGE!
......
Oh no. It's happening! I am going into my final year of high school! YES!!!! And no.... now I have to be all "grown up." Gross.
So I have dishes. And I was also given bed stilts and a Fondu pot thingy...... and I have a feeling this is only the beginning. I am not so sure I am grown up enough to have my very own blender..... And most definitely not my own measuring cups!
Then I was thinking, (A dangerous passtime, I know.) this Christmas is my college Christmas!!! The one where I get collegey stuff. Weird!!! I'm so old, I'm practically falling apart!
Kyley is going to be blind in college! And I might starve. We are gonna be.... awesome. But at least we will be room mates and we can cry on each other's beds when people make fun of us for our.... disabilities. This is the result of growing up apparently and having to pay for your own contacts and food. We are hoping that this won't happen.... but you never know. (p.s. Malena, please decide to come to Idaho! I will probably explode without you for that long! I won't even be able to meet your boyfriends and make you take off your camo hat every once in a while! Tuition is cheap and it's a private school so you feel all awesome! Please.... No pressure.... :) Oh, and also I know all about your birthday party and you dont!! :P Ha ha!)
So I am thinking that being old is scary. The end. (Not that I am not excited for college, cuz I am.)
This week we have been having a neighborhood garage sale. Let me just tell you, garage sales are quite the experience. A few highlights:
Dad talking to all of the hispanic people and laughing about things that you don't understand. (Probably just selling me and Hannah for 7 goats and 2 pidgeons... Just guessing.)
Mom flying through the air without wings!!!! (Too bad she hurt her wrist. Dang gravity.)
The old man who pointed to me and said, "You've got a little treasure here, don't you. ;)" (Blech! Needless to say, for the next morning of garage sale-ing, I decided to skip a shower :/ )
Me and Hann sending funny words to my phone via text message and having them read out loud by the robot lady that resides in my cell phone. (Emo-teee-con tongue = :P in robot lady language)
Neighborhood bonding.
Drum set :)

Oh. And today is finally Saturday!!!!!! YESSSSSS! :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D :D :D :) :) :) ) :)
Much Love!!
