A Sad Day in Aggieland (and parts of Lubbock)...

It was a sad day in Aggieland and parts of Lubbock as our Aggies fell to the third tier (hence TTU) Red Raiders. Poor Aggies, hopefully the rest of the season will fare better. But our spirited littlest Aggie was not concerned. Below are some of Drew's pre-game pics. Enjoy!

Drew goes to the Fair

Drew and some of his friends visited the fair today. He had lots of fun riding around in his stroller, playing with his friends Kyler, Kole, and Hunter, and drinking Mommy's strawberry lemonade (yum!). But his favorite part was definitely the petting zoo. Mommy's favorite part was the big nap Drew took when he got home. Enjoy the pics...

Testing 1..2..3

Hi! Well this is my first attempt at blogging or posting a blog. I thought I would give this a shot so that everyone could keep up with all that was happening in the Marchbanks household. Hopefully I can figure this all out...

We had quite a crazy morning... Shortly before Trey headed out the door, the realtor called wanting to show our house. So fast and furiously we picked up the house, dressed Drew, and tried to get ready to leave. Little did we know that since the power had gone off a few days ago, the sprinklers had reset themselves. So Briley, our 6 year old yellow lab who needed to come with us, was nice and wet when it was time to leave. So Trey loaded her up into the rear of his car, Drew reluctantly got in my car (he would rather ride with Daddy because VeggieTales can play on the tv in his car), and headed for McDonald's! Luckily the temperature was about 60, so it was not too hot for Briley in the car. About 5 minutes from our house, the realtor called and said there was not a key in the keybox and wondered how far away I was or if I wanted to reschedule for this afternoon. Knowing Drew would probably be napping (if I was lucky), I quickly turned around and went back home to let her in our house.

Well, finally we got to McDonald's and Drew...for the first time by himself...climbed up the playground and slid down on the slide by himself!!! YEAH! This is a huge accomplishment!!! This way Mom and Dad won't have to climb up in the McDonald's playground with him all the time! Double yeah! We also had some potty success!!! Which has lately been few and far between all of a sudden.

Yeah Drew for 2 big accomplishment today!!!
