It's been over a month since I have blogged, so here goes...
Garrett finally decided to walk!!!! I can't tell you how excited I was!!! There is hope for my poor spine soon! At the end of his 16th month, he thought he might try and sneak a few steps while nobody was looking. We caught him though. The funny thing is, that when we try and stand him up to walk, he squats and laughs at us, stands up, and then squats and laughs again. It has to be all on his terms.
We had lots of fun at cousin Shelby's first birthday party. It was quite the bash! Aunt Kim went all out as usual, and Drew and Garrett had lots of fun. We then spent a week at my parents house where we went to the Houston Zoo and spent lots of time in the pool. Then the boys went to our friend Sofie's 1st Birthday! She had a great fiesta too! Drew and Garrett loved jumping in the moon walk and beating the Snow White Pinata up with a stick.

*Sidenote: Yes, Garrett does not have pants on in the zoo pics. He puked all over his clothes in the car on the way there. We had to buy him a shirt at the souvenir shop.
This month we also visited my Grandparents in Austin. Mom and Dad drove over with the boys and me. Trey was already in Austin that day for a meeting, so we met him there. Kim, Shelby and Chad also joined us. We had lots of fun splashing in the pool, eating lots of good food, and visiting with Grandad and Grandma Sandy.

And as for Felipe, well... while we were packing up to leave Austin and go home, my grandparents received a phone call from someone claiming he wanted to speak with Felipe. He was told he had the wrong number. Several times. He repeatedly called back time and time again, more and more angry that Felipe was cheating him out of his money and that he was going to call the cops on us. He refused to believe that Felipe gave him the wrong number! Sandy talked with him, Drew talked to him, Trey, Dad, and I talked to him, but to no avail. I told the guy the only Felipe I knew was a screwdriver on a kids cartoon show (Handy Manny). He didn't buy it- he thought I was Felipe's wife. We laughed so hard, the guy was furious with us! Finally, we had to take the phone off the hook. ;)
