Plants, pillows, & plenty of camping!

I know you guys are going to be shocked and pretty much blown away by this, but
yes I am growing flowers. As you can see, my success is grand, so far. Thanks, to my
big sis, Nik (lucky to have her!!) for providing me some roots via the mail. Now, just
look what I have done. Can't wait to see what they look like. Also, here's my pillows done.
I still need more for my other junky couch, but loved that cute orange color. Did you
notice that I took out my beloved quilted stars from my window pane. Just whipped up
that little project, trying to update for cheap. I like the result. It's working for me.
Look close at the pic of Hen and couch. See the big pic of the rose. Too much? Not sure.
Also, on my mind, is vinyl saying on the wall not cool anymore? Mindy says yes! I
have one and am thinking about it. Now, on for our camping trip to 4 mile Creek, on
Lake Ontario. Glorious times to be had up there. Mcafee's supplied the laughs, frisbees,
and checkers. The kids spent hours down by the lake throwing rocks. So cute. I was expecting
a rougher terrain, but grass sites worked out to my liking. Nuggets weren't complete dirt
balls.
OH YEAH-- probably most important, it cause for celebration today! Introducing...
Mr. and Mrs. Preece. Yeah, that's right. Been married for 8 years today. My hubs
gets hotter every year! Treats me like the queen that I wish I was, and I in return,
make baked goods for him. Pretty much the key to a happy marriage. How can anyone
fight if there's something delicious to eat. Or, if you do have a love spat, treats make
making up that much sweeter. Love you my stallion!

Butterflies and Baseball

Wish I could take the credit for these flippin cutest cupcakes. Can not. My sis Mindy told me how to make them, so I was so excited to try them out! Super easy, but very glamous and crowd pleasing! First- and easiest, it's a cake mix. Lemon, for my liking, but whatever fav works. Second- get colored chocolates from Michaels or Joann's. Third- get a cookie sheet out, and line it with waxed paper. Now, the fun part I just free handed a butterfly and flower. Started with the middles, then threw them in the freezer to harden. After that, I did the white outlines. Back to the freezer. To finish off, filled in the pink, and a trip to cold storage. Homemade frosting, and done! So cute! Seriously, you could use this for anything. Any kind of shape. Plan on me bringing them to everything...
Now, onto my boy! Cutest baseball player ever. A little on the grumpy side, at times, but what a hitter! He's in Machine Pitch, and doing a great job. The games are a tad long- try 2+ hours, but it is so cute to see them trying so hard. Can't believe that I have a son old enough to be in organized sports. Man, I am getting up there. I was talking to someone the other day, and they told me they graduated high school in 2004! Since then, haven't been feeling great about my age. Fine lines on my face, no energy, in bed by 9:30. Can you say lame all the way around.

A few things..

A few things.....
1. Most disgusting- My sweet Henry peed in my flippin frig the
other night, when we had a babysitter!
Kay, that is beyond gross, but to his defense, he was sleep walking. The sitter said
she didn't think any got on the food. Kay, was that real? Still can't believe it!
2. Henry has been dressing up in crazy outfits lately, loving my shoes these days.
Glad we have something in common!
3. Isiac started baseball and is doing great..
4. Quinn man's favorite new word is Hot dog! So cute...
5. I just got put into the Relief Society Presidency. 2nd Councelor.
Anyone have anything great that they have done and loved, that I can copy?
6. My athletic hunk of meat, hubs, just won his basketball Championship!!!
It was a very proud moment for me knowing, that he can still sweat it up.
7. Mother's Day is this weekend, am I ready? NO! Do I love my mom,
and mother in law, yes. Crap if I can think of any good ideas, if you have an
awesome one, send it my way.
8. See those pillows, those pillows are eventually going to turn into some really
cute couch pillows. BUT, here's my issues, (I have many) I bought all this home
decor fabric for a great price, and want to recover my couches, (before I make
those cute pillows) But am scarded out of my mind to start recovering them, cause
I have no idea what I am doing. Probably would ruin all my fab fabric.
Any help or pointers, anybody? If you know how, I am pretty much willing to pay you!
You know how you just get sick of your old decor. I've been country, when country
wasn't cool! So time to move on. See ya plaids!
