Jona's such an ass man, should be more like abi, can make up mind one. :D so we took bus36 down to NUS Admin building, had our lunch, played games like bingo...taiti..007? O: Lol I played FIFA09 with Huanda, not even 30mins gamtime i owning 3-1 (the one goal i literally give him ok) and he Bui tahan alr so he say "gg" then we shook hands, then i win :DD. Overall, happy birthday to Jenna and Thanks Abigail for fetching me homeee (:

today MARCUS was sick and could not attend school. Then, Marcus got a call by his class for the finals of the volleyball interclass was that day. Marcus got up to shower, change, lunch, and hurried off to school. Then without respite the interclass commenced with 3IT.
-
K narrating my life sucks (the life is awesome, but the narration sucks). Did not attend school today, but still went over anyway to play volleyball. Angelica called me like dunno how many times to rush me over and I had to run all the way from the back gate to the fron coz the school closed the back gate-.- Then After all that Jiaying told me Bus Ser.16 took very long to travel to CCHMS (I took 16 earlier that day), zzz. Today's volleyball interclass went well with 3JT winning 3IT over rubber set. Woah Shaohong can be quite fierce while playing you know, but it was helpful coz i admit i was rather laggy and blur in the first game. Then after the close win, I found out that the finals would be played awhile after the semi-finals! I though it would be on another day leh. zzz. And it was going to be against MD somemore ): However, we did not lose like shit la (Term: Dog fight with Duck). Thanks to the peserverance of Shaohong, Edmund, Kennard, Kahbing, Chrystal, Venessa and obviously Me all the 3JT people who supported (and Daniel Ong-.- dunno he support who la). Hahahehehoho.

Next week will see us having like dunno how many fudge(means another word starting with f)loads of tests. I dont care alr this time I have to do well. Hence, i have to revise diligently and work hard (: AMEN.

WOAH this years PFT can be said to be my worst la lol. By right, this is my first PROPER pft. In sec 1, i was sick on the day of PFT. In sec 2, the same. Im standing at 23 points now (inclusive only of 5 items)
- Sit and reach (37cm - 4points)
- Standing broad jump (219cm - 4 points)
- Inclined pull ups (36 in <30sec coz Jonathan Lok say dont waste energy, LOL - 5 points)
- Sit ups (45 in less than 1minute coz Jianwei and I were counting DOWN from 45)
- Shuttle run (10.0 sec - 5 points)
..
Im super unhappy and so gonna retake my standing broad jump and shuttle run man. I'll also be taking my 2.4km coz i had a bad cramp which screwed up my first run. I need a 28-point result this year man. haha.

yay it's the new theme of FELLOWSHIPPING TOGETHER (: May God guide me through this theme as he had swiftly done for the previous theme of reaching out to others, amen in Jesus' name!

Everyone of us, each of us, are all here for a reason. Why do we isolate ourselves from the outside? Why do we prefer sometimes to not participate? I admit I do act these ways sometimes, and we all know that is like - Wrong. It is common knowledge that no one in the world looks the same as ourself. So why can't we understand sometimes that we all have a different task, a different gift that only we are capable of doing? I never thought of it this way before. For all I know, the very activity I choose to demur from can easily change the whole outcome. Talking about this, the first and most recent I can relate to is the CCA Leaders Camp earlier this year. We learnt alot about self participation and how one small act influences as large an outcome.

I always felt inferior to another whose talent was more "higher" than mine, but that is wrong. Be it "small" or "big", the talent and gift is ours and no one else may be able to have the advantage. If I play badminton and maybe like, Rooney plays soccer, I can see that I play only for the school while Rooney earns millions playing for Manchester United. Screw up the scenario where rooney and I change places, and both of us would fail, because the talent required is something we don't have and hence can't apprehend. Similarly, if I am good at one on one talks, while my friend is able to preach to a whole crowd, then I should stick to my gift, for like the workbook says "It is not a question of whether or not you are gifted, but how are you gifted".

-Share my gifts with others instead of keeping them to myself, I will defeat the purpose.

-Realise the unique gift I have and apply it instead of ency others of theirs

-Nothing can be done alone. We have each other for a reason, because each of us acts as a part of a whole system, and no one is left out. Be it family, friends or even mere acquaintances. We are all bonded as one in the body of the Lord, AMEN! :D

40 DOC: Reaching out to Unbelievers - Day 14

"And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus" -

40 DOC~Day Fourteen~REACH OUT EVERYWHERE(:
As God's people, we are to not only live this life of christianity in the safety of our church or remain in the quiet of devotion, but live our life in the real world. In our attempts to reach out, screwing up or failure is always something we will meet with sooner or later. This world is not filled only with God's presence, but Satan is blocking and narrowing my path too. I've experienced the time when Satan has pointed out every little flaw I've made and sometime's leading me into certain self-condemnation, but I must always remember that I'm still a representative of Christ. What good will it do to show non-believers that I'm so vulnerable to the ways of Satan? So I must always stay strong in faith and know that everything is in God's hands (: That's so assuring once you believe in the destiny God has set for us.

"But there's one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: God's loyal love could'nt have run out, his merciful love couldn't have dried up. They're created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I'm sticking with God. He's all I've got left" - Lamentations 3:21-24

Always remember that I am ready and am able to commit and accomplish the task God has arranged for me, because only I am the perfect representative for the task I am called for, and only by doing it and showing others the Love of God, do I glorify God's name higher and higher.

Remember to keep God first in life;priority.

TIME-CONSTRAINT: Homework-replete weekends

Woke up in the morning today at 1130(yes, it's in the morning). This Jiaying is like very ..."zzz".. no comment. Then tuition on Amaths, need to practice on my carefulness in doing maths sums coz it's these @*&%!s that always pull down my marks. Then in the afternoon, I watched 永春-叶问. I watched it because he likes to 挑战是个人! Then off to Beauty World Centre with my uncle,aunt,father (sister went to this party thang) to buy my sch uniforms. That's because the old ChungCheng Uniform totally PWNS the new(ugly) one, so I went through the trouble to get the old ones. After that came dinner, then to my other uncle's home at Woodlands to visit. Picked up my sis after leaving, she was at some faraway condominium and by the time we reached home, it was just a while before I blogged this. So you can see that most of my work is not done as Saturday is spent on other stuffs (:

REACH OUT TOGETHER

Evangelism in Chung Cheng is always a fun thing to do, because there's just so many friends out there who have yet to hear the Good News of Christ's salvation (: Yet, when it comes to even the first step of beginning conversation about Christianity, people like me would stand rooted to the ground, either clueless on how to start, or just being fearful of rejection. It's a common thing to hear "Aiya don't want la" being a reply to "Let's talk about Christianity". In retrospect I find this act rather related to the previous teachings where we have to show our love for christ by loving others (from what we say, do etc). Being able to speak about the Glory of God is one thing, but to convice is another. If someone behaves arguably different from the way when he talks about christ, the recipient of the message may not be fully nor even slightly convinced that Christ is the way to go. Fine I admit I fall in this category sometimes, BUT I'M DOING MY BEST TO CHANGE OK. zz. Then today's 40DOC talks about reaching out to non-believers as a group, and honestly I've never really tried that before (:

Having tried to give the Good News but to a sudden and gradual halt due to exhaustion and rejection, I realised it's been awhile since I really went out voluntarily to talk about Christ.

"Your chance to share Christ ends when you end(die)". This really dawned upon me that any day, anytime, I can leave the physical realm and that lad or lass there whom I could have brought to Christ never will, all because of my procrastination. If we want to spread the Good News, we must do it without respite. If we want to keep the confidence high, and give a persuasive front, we must show how we truly are as christians and act as a group.

The book shows the basic steps:

- Reveal You're Christian (Done that, you know it, I know it)

- Extend an invitation to church (Done on miniscule attempts, Got to 加油)

- Ask if it's ok to share your story (Yea I better share instead of asking them to read my testim. theirself.Lol)

- Communicate how and why you became a Christian (I've never applied this approach before. I shall)

- Help your friend accept Christ

As I bring someone in, I mature in christ. As someone rejects the evangelistic approach, I mature in christ. As I build a stronger relationship with those aroun, I mature in christ (: Amen.

TGIF: Tiring week

Today there was chem quiz in the morning, on chapter 8 and 9 (molar shit), and Ms.Ong apparently claimed that the ratio of marks weightage for quizzes to tests are 8:1! LOL.

Then the second period, came a more importatnt test, the EL Narrative/Personal recount (N/PR) Essay Writing. So When we "got our topics", it was obvious to choose "Lost!" (The other topic was "Bored") and in my mind I just drafted the storyline:

Format: Start-Climax-Start
(Start in school)

Teacher asks us to write essay as homework, topic is "Lost!"

(Scene change to bus stop)

I felt tired, did not know how to write essay,

unknowingly took the wrong bus

(Scene to mandai)

Ended up in a remote place after being thrown out by bus conductor for EZlink card ran out of value,

Phone dead,

Heavy downpour,

thrown into drain

(After some descriptive text, scene to drain)

Describe feelings,

end up at mandai neighbourhood estate,

(Scene to home)

Wrote the essay, where first sentence of my story is lifted to here,

turning the essay into a cycle-like thing

Hope I could get a decent score? Well, next was physics quiz. OMGosh O-level somemore. haha. It was as hard as chasing a stone (wecong can't). Then finally the 4th and most important test, CHINESE. Wahseh. i know confirm pass la, but pass until how good? The 填写汉字 and 造句、完成句子 was 一帆风顺 but the others kinda 坎坷 leh. The 理解问答 crap about 心态 and explain till something so simple became so complicating. Still, everything is now in God's hands.

After school, my uncle called me to say that he bought a Liverpool shirt for both my sister and me. ROFL. then I was like "NONONOONO I don't like Liverpool" but he bought the shirts alr, so I thanked him and now HAHA i have a liverpool shirt (: Not the Jersey though, Heng ah.

The rest of the time in school was spent volleyballing and watching volleyball interclass (:

Before that, the Investiture Group had meeting and so many things were cancelled due to the H1N1. Shiok ah. However I still had to concoct the stage plans which I so gotta do coz Investiture is in 3 weeks O:

Todays volleyball interclass saw FG losing to LY (Wenting I told you), CR losing to BN (was it?), and DL not even showing up for HM-.- So it's us against HM next week, shaohong is like " just gimme the ball then i Piang down can already." and "Hit back court, don't hit front coz they tall enough once they set we die alr" haha. K i'll take note, if I'm playing..

Then home it was, and off to piano almost without respite. I found out I had a merit for my ABRSM Grade 3 practical (: My teacher was kinda happy and I was like.. uhm ok. Haha, but not bad la.

After piano I met up with my father and sis for dinner, then cell group. And eventually I came back to the lush abode, typing this now. Nice.

40 DOC: Day 12 - Reaching Out to Unbelievers - "Reach Out With Practical Help"

I felt it would be easier to reflect on what I've learnt along my 40DOC journey if I recorded the journal entries on the blog (: So here goes, starting with Day 12.
Also, you can see the way God path's our lives and how I am also learning and maturing as God fills our Days with new things to learn, see, and reach out to. So hope this deems a good way to see the growth in retrospect after this campaign, maybe even before it ends! (:

"Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us really love them, and show it by our actions." 1 John 3:18

This verse has never spoken out to me before, nor have I often noticed such verses that speak out to us so intimately and personally. Indeed there were many times in my life(both before and after acceptance into Christ's realm) where I have used the word "I love you" with fulsome and insincere roots. Can remember once, or rather many times, when I and my sister were incolved in a row and whenever our parents came as deviators, "I Love you" had to surface from our lips to each other, by hook or by crook. Honestly, most out of the many times I was involved in such situations, the "I love you"'s were 100% insincere. Well, that's human, i guess. However, there are times too when we claim we love people and yet do nothing to prove so. That's the flaw in communication between non-believers and believers, i presume? The workbook(40DOC) claims it so, and it really dawned upon me, that ever-irascible question : Everytime I tell my friends about how wonderful the realm of God is, how filled with love it is, how blessed and showered by love we are, do they believe it? Do they not scrutinise our claims? They do. Definitely."

Many times I have spread the Good News of God to friends, but some of them may not have recieved it wholeheartedly, because that's where the evangelism ceases. No actions nor evidence, how could they just step in and advocate? This point, I'll work on it (:

From the workbook: I want to challenge you to prove your love to God by reaching out to others with a love that's sincere and filled with passion. It's not easy, but it is the motive that God honours.

I read Day 12 at the school's iCafe today, and the message has been stuck there in my mind ever since. Imagine the people I could've brought closer to God (: So let's see that become a reality, Amen. (:

3) The movie was a bit familiar in content (ref. to A Haunting - Discovery Channel)

4) The two stupid girls (expecially [censored]) keep closing their eyes and waste money? lol.

5) (censored) never finish the popcorn! wasteful.

6) I tahan my bladder super long throughout the movie coz of the Iced lemon tea i drank.

8) Jiaying dont want show her alleged IC Photos. Selfish right.

9) I saw them anyway.

10) Jolene had to leave for dinner at home.

11) JY & I saw Dk on the way to dinner:D Jo missed the chance 4 the honourable moment.

12) Some people no money still eat swensens. Luckily they've a nice generous friend like me.

13) Some people eat swensens right, never finish the french fries. Wasteful.

Is nothing la, but then i dunno how is like, i dunno how we go in class, coz after bio spa, then we doing bio W/S, then she say put away our things. ok la its ok to say but i dun like her attitdue. I fgrgot what she say alr but then very "why we dont understand what she say la" . Then split us into groups, then must answer question, then the group with the most points can get extra time for quiz. Where can like that one lor. Then is like i ask her question hor, coz i really dunno what she talking alr, then she nvr even explain properly la.

Wow, his exercise routine's were darn "tiring" and "exhausting"!
Got Bridge, Leg thrusts, and all the funny names for his exercises, dunno if they are really names for exercise moves or SOME OTHER moves?

Then the physics test. Wah, can you see the difference between 4000000000 and 4000000000? I read my calculator ( actually Daniel Ong's one) wrongly and read 400000000 instead of 4000000000! WTH! Pray pray pray the "error carry forward" rule can help me in this :D i cannot drop anymore results alr ):

Please please please pray for my Sister, Mindez, as she is having a rather rough time currently amidst her PSLE preparation (: She's working very hard and ekes any time she has to revise now, for there's just 3 months left on the calendar before PSLE. Her tuition's figuratively dragging her to hell, and she too has piano lessons and church to juggle along with her work, and unfortunately she is on the premise that she would not be anle to conclude the year with desired results ): But I know the Lord is magnificent in his plans for us and I's just seek a favour for you to spend a little time to pray for her guidance, strength and wisdom to carry on working. Let your prayers fill the holy spirit in her and spur her own with God as her working fuel, and that no matter the result, she know she has done her very best, and her future is always in the lap of God, and it is all well.

SINGAPORE: Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan has said schools will re-open and the Asian Youth Games and National Day celebrations will carry on. But recently-returned students who have travelled to affected countries will stay at home for one week before joining their classmates when schools re-open on Monday.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) will provide more details soon, added Mr Khaw. The health minister was speaking at a news conference on Monday to give an update on the latest developments on the Influenza A(H1N1)situation. Mr Khaw said that overall, life must continue as normally as possible with targeted control measures. One of them would be to close a school when a significant cluster is found so as to break the transmission or to isolate a competing team from other athletes as was done with the Filipino and the Hong Kong football players. Mr Khaw also revealed that the scientific committee, chaired by the Director of Medical Services, is effectively evaluating the characteristics and the genome of the virus.

The committee has determined that the H1N1 virus in Singapore remains identical with that in North America. Hence, the consensus view was that the virus remains moderate-risk and Singaporeans need not panic over the development that there is now community spread in the country. Mr Khaw is confident that almost all infected cases will be able to recover fully and that Tamiflu and Relenza remain effective against the disease. He, however, added: "But I thought I should explain that moderate risk does not mean no death. Just like the seasonal flu, there will be some deaths. That's why we need to target the high-risk patients, especially those with underlying medical conditions and to render the best chance of a full recovery. And that is why we need to allow our hospitals to be able to focus on the high-risk cases and not be distracted or overwhelmed by hundreds of mild cases." Among those in the high risk include pregnant mothers, people with asthma, those on kidney dialysis or on chemotherapy. The Health Ministry intends to advise these groups of patients with direct mailers of what they can do to protect themselves.

On its part, the Health Ministry is also gearing up all its polyclinics and a few hundred general practitioners to treat suspected H1N1 cases in Singapore. Giving details of measures to tackle a wider community spread of the influenza, Mr Khaw explained that these will be called Pandemic Preparedness Clinics or PPCs and they can be recognised by their decal to handle walk-in suspect cases. These clinics will only refer some categories of high-risk suspect patients to public hospitals. Mr Khaw said the Health Ministry would publicise to Singaporeans where these clinics are so they know where to seek advice. He explained: "When the local bio-surveillance data confirms significant community spread and we need to move from containment to full mitigation, we will signal to the public to use these PPCs instead of going to the hospitals if their flu conditions are mild. And this may happen over the next few days." The Health Minister also revealed that the government would secure adequate supplies of the H1N1 vaccine for the population. Besides the existing supply contract with the vaccine manufacturer, Mr Khaw said the ministry is also in active negotiations with other vaccine manufacturers. The aim is to diversify the supply of H1N1 vaccines.

Concluding, Mr Khaw said that last week has been eventful in the development of the outbreak in Singapore and the ministry expects this development. That's because June would be challenging, given the large number of travellers returning from their holidays. But the seven-week head start in battling the virus has been extremely useful, Mr Khaw said, to allow the government to gear up its system for the community spread phase of the outbreak. His advice to Singaporeans: just carry on with your lives normally but keep up the high standard of personal hygiene. - CNA/ir

3JT MYE Chalet Gathering: Day 1

Fun. Ate Fish&Chips for DINNER. PSP-ed FIFA09 with Lennon [Marcus(Tottenham) 3-3 (Liverpool)Lennon (Marcus wins on penalties:)]. PSP-ed with Jooyuan [Marcus(Manchester United) 3-1 (Arsenal)Jooyuan]. 'Jai-Ho'-ed all the way. Help with mini bazaar placards painting. Kaiwen's birthday cake, ate a slice. Scared Wingyee and some other people by turning off the lights (: Stayed on at night. Chased off a cockroach in the chalet. 12.05a.m. to "Drag me to hell' with Kahbing, Crystal and Xinying. 2a.m. played some gay number game that Jonathan brought. Monopoly-ed till 5.am. with me ranking as the 1st RUNNER-UP following Jonathan as champion. Scared the heck out of Crystal with the PSP starter-theme music of 'Resistance-Retribution'. Bathed while Yongquan, Junwei and Yiliang Monopoly-ed. Took a nap till 9a.m., Packed my bag while other's monopoly-ed. Took bus home. Doing homework. Going back for BBQ. Awesome. CCHMS: Leadership Camp

WHAT BETTER WAY TO KICK START THE JUNE HOLIDAYS THAN TO RETURN TO SCHOOL FOR A CAMP?

One Moment... Paradox-.- The Camp was actually quite fun (: Came under badminton , along with Daniel Ong. Made quite a lot of new friends and WOW, we are actually doing proposals for real school events? Haha even awesome people like myself received comments on how my potential has not been fully shown, that I've got to stand out, gotta speak out loud, if I want even the most inobedient asses and stubborn ******s to listen to me. Mind you, I took the comments with respect and acceptance, as did I when I made my comments to others (: Fortunately my group did not have the honourable presence of any inobedient ass or stubborn ******, but a whole lot of us who clicked together and I believe kicked the whole cohorts asses in everything. Overall we came back tired, but in our hearts we were jumping with our fists held high in glee (Cliched sentence, don't bother using this for your essay writing) .

P.S. This marked the frenzy hype over "Jai Ho" , which lingers on till now.

This wencong and jeryll really meant to be gay together man. THEN the CCA, wah seh the stupid china doggie (coach) damn what la. I play game with sec 1 and 2 again. shit la. Last session nvr even play at all. What kind of coach right? China coach la. dOg. WAO i sound like celine now, maybe miss her too much la (naw, can't be) . zzz Yay I want To qUICkLy POM-pom now and GEt ON WITH my STUDY ON JOB. now at chapter 2, completed the first one yesterday on JOB.
