Loving Scrapper 101

Hi everyone in blog land.  First, I am sure everyone is with me in celebrating T.G.I.F.  Also, hope that everyone is staying cool.  Now, I made this card with the Playtime cart. I rarely use it. It came with my Cricut machine. Even though it has several cute cuts, I find myself repeating many of the cuts to give it color and dimension.  I did 7 different cuts for this cutie patootie.  From my stash I used My Pink Stamper 'Encourage Me' stamp set, MS flower border punch, Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder, dollar ribbon (Michaels), Pebbles Classic chalk, black & white gel pen, a Peachy face(PK-573).  A new item I just bought at a clearance are the stars from Recollections.  Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi all my bloggie friends and a happy T.G.I.F.  This was a quick and simple card.  Everything I used was from my stash and scraps(except for my brand new Dorcerela  Summer stamp set).  I added some embossing with Cuttlebug Divine Swirls, punched the corners with MS Starburst corner punch, inked the sun with Studio G brown & Powderpuff mango and used a Signo white gel pen for the shades..  For a glittery finishing touch I added some glitter dots from Recollections for the cheeks. Everyone have a Sun-shiney weekend.

Hi everyone. I am just posting a B-Day card.  Thought it would be fun to add this funny,  crabby Peachy Keen face(Pk-493) to my crab with a sentiment from My Pink stamper.  I used Create a Critter cart. which was feeling left out and added some embellishes from my stash(epoxy stickers/Target, embossing folder/Cuttlebug & Powderpuff chalk ink in Mango and Midnight Blue). Hi my bloggie friends. This will be a quick post. I was inspired to do this card by Courtney at Everyday Cricut.  The only cart used was George Basic Shapes. I used the sunburst MS border punch and added the negative cut for the stars. I finished it with a firecracker sticker from my stash. I am back with another 4th of July project. There were so many Patriotic challenges I decided to do a few projects. This is the 2nd from 3 I did and decided to make it 3D. Ever since I made my 1st wreath I just love making them even though they are time consuming.  I have been keeping it to one per season or event.  I used MS Seasonal cart. for all the cuts and wreath.  adding smaller stars on the front and larger ones on the back, to give it alot of layering.  Have a wonderful weekend and stay cool.

Hi all my bloggie friends. Hopefully you are staying cooler then me, since I am without an air-conditioner and with temps in the 90's & up. Whew, don't you just feel th sweat forming, LOL.  I also hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.  My granddaughter and I spent it with a large portion of my extended family. she was meeting them all for the 1st time. She had a ball, especially in the pool.  

Now, let me get to the card which I am really loving how it turned out.  I used the MS Seasonal cart. & MS Sunburst border punch.  Other additons are embossing stars folder(Cuttlebug), some old puffy stickers(Target), dollar buttons(Michaels), ribbon, gem stars(Oriental Trading co.), corner rounder(Fiskers) and Momento ik,.  I used my fairly new stamp sentiment/Encouraging Me(My Pink Stamper), which I love and brand spanking new 3 Girl Jam ribbon which I won in her Blogaversary.  Some of the pieces were hand cut with MS paper trimmer.  That's it and I hope that you enjoy it as much I as I have.
