Sunday Rituals

I don't even remember how this blogger thing works you guys.  It's been too long.  But I want to talk more random nonsense and feel like instagram and facebook might offend people so here I am to share my random musings and you are fully capable of not checking in on my life if you wish.  It's up to you, right?

Here's cute Morgan, she was determined to make everyone a love note this morning.  I love how she so freely shares love with everyone around.
Then there's this silly lady.  I have yet to figure out how to curl my hair.  My straightener died (which I use mainly for Morgan's hair) so I ordered a new one.  Tried again to get those soft waves that everyone claims they get with a flat iron.  I got a few strands to curl at the ends but not the whole way through.  Today I set my hair in hot rollers again trying to get some nice waves.  I have issues people.  When the curls are done I try to spray them like I feel I'm supposed to get set them, right?  Then 15 minutes later I can't stand the stiffness of my hair and that it looks stringy and not soft and wavy like I want.  So I softly brush through my hair and lose all my curls.  I'm the worst. :(  At least I finally have long hair to work with after years of longing for it . . .

This is BEFORE the stringy mess happens which I then brushed out.  Seriously, horrible. LOL

Then there's this cute girl.  She asked if I'd try a CGH braid on her.  We got through it but those crazy internet hairstyles always give me a bit of anxiety, right?

Morgan is my crafting girl.  For her birthday we picked up this birdhouse for her to decorate how her heart desires.  I LOVE how it turned out.  I kind of think I should keep it inside so it doesn't get destroyed outside.  She did it completely solo and it's all cuteness just like her.

The rest of Sunday was our normal routines.  Fast Sunday calls for pot roast around here.  I still love to make the Pioneer Woman's recipe and it turns out great.  Church was uplifting even if I caused complete chaos in Primary by trying to play a version of Family Feud in Senior Primary.  I knew it was going to be crazy but sometimes you just have to let it go, it's Primary and the kids love to be there which is what is important, right?

After church means feeding the crew, playing with the crew, keeping kids from crying, potty training Garrett and eating way too many cookies.  Who is around if I keep this blogging thing up?  I'd like to know who I might scare off on my next post.  :)

Anyone out there?

I'm pondering resurrecting my blogging days.  Stay tuned and see if I follow through or not.  But first I need to prepare a Sharing Time lesson for Primary.
