The Pike Family

Wow, does time go fast! Kason is 11 weeks old now and is cuter than ever! He is the happiest and most smiley guy who just seems to be loving life. I have never seen a more patient baby, even when he gets hungry! He is a little sweetie. We have felt the Lord's tender mercies throughout the short amount of time that he has been on this earth. Some of you may not have known, but Kason was born with a hole in his heart. It started out as a "meduiim" size hole and at his last appointment in April, it had gone down to a "small" size hole. As far as the doctor can tell, he is doing great and it seems that his heart is healing on its own.

It is truly a miracle!!

I thought these pictures were so dang funny that I have to tell the story...It was a few weeks ago when it was supposed to be Spring time and Brigham was looking out the window and asked, "Mom, can we go play in those balls out there?!" I was wondering what he was talking about and then I saw that it was hailing. We hurried and got their winter gear on and I stayed inside and watched them play from the window so I didn't have to take Kason out in it. It was fun to watch them try to catch the hail and pose for me at the window!

As you can see, Mark has collected a few hunters orange beenies that the boys have adopted. They call them their "brave hats!"
