"A Make A Mess!"

This is what the boys would look like after they would come to help me "water" the garden!
In the words of Kason..."A Make A Mess!!"

Now That's a "Fish" Story!!

So we are all just sitting quietly in the cabin when Rachel and Becca come darting in with this Gigantuous fish!! "No way did you guys catch that!!" was the overall response. "Oh we caught it all right!" They both replied. Well, we were all just awe struck, especially Ben because he almost guarenteed that that was the fish that had gotten away from him earlier that day!! (Which I am sure to this day he is still just sick about!) So anyway, the boys got examining it and Mark then reassured that this fish was not a fresh and healthy fish. The color of it was just kind of sickly. Something definitely "fishy"was going on with these two and their fish story!!
So they finally decided to tell us how it all came to be...they caught it all right, but their way of catching a fish was a bit different than your normal fisherman! They said that as they were rowing along on the canoe, they saw this fish out in the distance. So they got closer and realized that they could see it only because it was dead!! Belly up! They of course thought how cool it would be to bring it on in and claim the catch!! (I am still debating on whether it is pure genious or just plain gross!) So Rachel decided that she wanted to be the heroin of the story and reached down and grabbed this gigantuous, slimy, sickly, bellied up fish knowing that it would all be worth it and together they tricked us all!!

You girls are Awesome!!!

A Visit From The Fam'!

The family made a quick stop on their way to take Grandma to The Cabin. One of the major perks of living in Idaho is that we are on the way to everyone's favorite place!! Yeah!
I love this picture of Grandma and Kason.
(Grandma was not happy that I took it though...for those of you who don't know our Grandma, she hates her picture taken!!) :)
Brig wasn't feeling so hot, but he didn't want to miss out on the fun!
Aunt Becca running in the hay fields with the little boys. :)

"Just checkin' on the cows."
And one of Kason's favorite spots to play!

Ridin' The Horses

This was quite the adventurous day! It all began with the idea of riding the horses over to our house from where their pasture is which includes about 3 1/2 miles of highway. (Thank you by the way to our wonderful and kind friends for letting us keep them at their place until we can get our fence built.) Anyway, I kind of hinted to Mark that I thought it was too far and too many cars, but of course it has to be proven right?! To make a really long story short, it took Mark's cousin and him about half the day to get them to our house after the fact that Sirus had already bucked Mark off at the start of their journey! (Yes, he was a little bruised up and sore, but I am just grateful that he was still able to walk!) By the time they got to our house they were all fried. So instead of going on long trail rides, we decided that a few circles around the yard would be sufficient!
Brigham riding Rosie and Mark keeping Sirus calm!
Mark and his "project"....Sirus!
We had to talk Debbie into getting on one of the horses...wise choice on choosing Rosie!! Ahh, isn't that just cute or what!
It really is a blast when we actually get to ride together. :)
Hold on tight there Debbie!
And don't worry he only bucks men off who try to talk on their cell phones and ride at the same time. (Oh, and thanks Uncle Frank for letting us know!!)
(You can kind of see how tall Sirus is by comparing him to the height of Uncle Frank's truck in the background.)
Mark and Rosie.

Oh, the memories we are making!!

"The Pond"

So when it rains at our house, we get this magical pond in our driveway. At one time it had all dried up, which the boys were way sad about, but then it rained again and they were so excited to look outside and cried, "The ponds back!!"
Thus we have "The Pond".
