It's Over!!!

Finally Mark is finished with the Bar exam. It has been a long couple of months and really stressful couple of days, but what an accomplishment. When Mark was standing on his books (that cost a fortune) he said "This was all in my head!!" Let it out babe, you are done :) Congratulations.

Although the circumstances were far from ideal, we really did have a nice time in Downtown Tuscon(where the Bar was). We stayed at this adorable Bed and Breakfast with 5 other test takers. It was a great relaxing environment for a really stressful time.It was the The Royal Elizabeth and nicknamed "The Liz". It was a fantastic place. We had the Sydney Marie room which was originally a law office of a local Tuscon attorney back in the day.Our room had a private enterance to the pool, where I spent all my time totally relaxing.Jeff and Chuck (the owners/chefs/hosts) made a fantastic gourmet breakfast each morning.I walked a couple blocks and picked up our lunches each day at the cutest little Italian place, Caffe Milano. Delicious! Thanks Mark for letting me tag along! Maybe we can go back another time and enjoy ourselves under better circumstances.

Re-Vamped

I finally changed our background after months and months of the same boring thing. Thanks Lyndsie for telling how to make a scrapbook header/title. This one is really simple but I am still figuring it all out. I can't wait until I can put a baby photo in it :)

The Beginning of the End!!

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and so begins my final trimester of pregnancy!! So far it has begun the same way as the first, this is how I feel...

SO SLEEPY!! I get up, go to work, come home and sleep, wake up for dinner, spend time with my hubby and then right back to sleep. I could get 15 hours of sleep a day and still feel tired. What am I going to do?!?! Get all the sleep I can because in 13 short weeks I won't be sleeping at all. I am so excited for our little boy to come and still have lots of preparations to make :)

Everyone in the family can't wait for the little one either!

Our Fun 4th!!

We have the most fabulous tradition in my family for the week of 4th of July. My grandparents rent a beach house for the week and all the extended family stays together for the week and plays games, watches the fireworks and EATS a lot!! We have so much fun when all the crazy Messick's get together. I was there all week and Mark joined us for the weekend. We had so much fun, here are some pictures for you all to enjoy!!

THE HOUSE:(Unfortunately this will be the last year we get this awesome house, it just sold for an insane amount of money. It's not easy to find a house that sleeps 22)THE BELLY: (for some reason everyone only wanted pictures of my belly, forget about my face, they just wanted the belly. My cousins treated it like a Buddah and rubbed it for good luck)
THE FRIENDS: (our best friends from law school just moved to Southern CA and it was so fun to spend the weekend with them)FAMILY: (I love spending time with my sisters)THE COUSINS:(not all of them, that'd be a big picture)THE GAMES:(Mark loved getting out and playing football with the boys after being cooped up in a library every day so far this summer)THE CRAZINESS:(we go through coolers and coolers of soda in a week, maybe that has something to do with it)THE (FREEZING COLD) WATER: (I was sad I couldn't go in, although it was beyond cold this year)THE FOOD: (At one of my favorite restaurants, Ruby's)THE LOVE: (I was so happy when Mark finally joined me. We hadn't been apart for this long in over a year)
